You can not beat the location of this hotel. Basically everything is around the corner. We didn't even need to use public transportation that much, walked everywhere most of the time. There are several bars next door, a lot of massage places. Bugis street where you can buy cheap last minute souvenirs is 10 min walk. Quaint queen room was tiny. It didn't bother us since we hardly spent any time at the hotel. But if you like comfort definately book a bigger room.
Just one night wasn't long enough. This place is a gem. Friendly and helpful staff followed by clean room and a comfy bed plus the nice touches about the place such as juice and biscuits in the Lobby and complimentary items in your room which makes your time here enjoyable.
I could close an eye if the front desk wasn’t smiling, but I would not comprise on overall cleaning standards of the room. I have been a regular to your hotels and would reconsider from staying here if the general cleanliness of the room was not met.
If you're a single traveller or a couple planning to spend most your day outside, this is a good option. The rooms are on the small side, enough for only one suitcase, but sufficient. The staff are friendly and the included stocked mini fridge is a plus. The breakfast is across the the street in a cafe, there is only one continental option which could get a bit boring after a couple days if you are not into the local cuisine. The location is great. 5 min walk to raffles hotel, plenty of malls around and 20 min to marina Bay.
When we searched for a quick stop-over, avoiding chains and corporates, NuVe popped on the radar. Quaint room, which it was, perfect for a very short stay. It is what you pay for, just a little bit better. 5 minutes walk to the Long Bar, this spot is perfect for city tours and exploring Singapore. FREE minibar was a nice touch, breakfast across the road ok, and really friendly staff. We have marked this as a 5 out of 5 because of location, bed, clean room, and staff. Tips. Make sure you book direct as they have some great deals available. When in Singapore, you must visit the Orchid Gardens and Botanic Gardens. We use the Big Bus Tour which was convenient. There is a nice little local restaurant around the corner with a constant queue which is worth a visit.
