Lovely room but TV does not work , no reception or sign apart from a a4 piece of paper in the window. You have pass through a restaurant to exit and come through the kitchen via the back door. No night reception.. Glad I have only one night . Very close to Raffles ...
I have left Hotel Industry in 2014 and since then, I stay in non 5-star hotels during holiday as there is no more employee rate benefit. This time, I went to Singapore to meet my Good Friend who needs to do medical treatment. The plan was quite sudden and I searched for a hotel near Bugis area and decided to stay at Hotel Kai due to recommendation rate is positive. Surprisingly, the quality of facility and the service level of its employee were satisfactory. The room was yes small but I was not shocking because the size was explained in the web, so the guest can imagine already before choosing the room. Even though it was small, but the facilities were all good. The bed was comfortable and can be recline
Had book 1 night stay at sky loft room. The room was ok. Smaller than what we expected. 1 of the issue we face was the main aircon as it was abit faulty. Locations is awesome as it is nearby ammenities and local eateries. The balcony in the skyloft room is spacious for hangout. Overall not a bad hotel to stay at.
Location is perfect, walking distance to many places. The Raffles Hotel is just 3 minutes walk where we had the famous Singapore Sling cocktail. The hotel is modern, clean and compact. Room is not spacious but for the price and what you get, this hotel is perfect. City Hall MRT is only 5 minutes walk where it connects to the Airport directly.
Location is great, many restaurants around there, near Bugis shopping area, and national library, Church etc. Room is very small but functional, comfortable bunk bed, but it's just 1-2 steps to bathroom. Keycard system was broken, no toilet tissue provide when we arrived. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Location is walking distance to many places, plenty of nice bars and restaurants too. The Raffles also only 2 minutes walk. Staff are friendly which is a bit unsuall in Singapore. The hotel is modern, compact and clean. Amenities are complete. I must say the price is really good for what they give. Perfect for solo traveller, couple or close friends travelling together.
We stayed in an urban studio. Room was small, compact. Facilities are there - safe, hot water boiler, coffee tea and biscuit, iron, TV, room slippers, hanger. No ref. No closet. Bed was quite comfortable. Wifi is okay. Good location - near public transpo, walking distance to where we wanted to go. Branch of Killineys just across the street for breakfast. Cons: room is small so this would be an issue if you have a big luggage. And the toilet bowl is just a few steps from the bed. No partition. There is a rolling blind for “privacy” when using the toilet but essentially everything is open. You can hear and smell everything. So this room is great if you are alone, or if you are really really close to your room mate. If not, you are better off getting another type of room. Room looked clean, and they replaced the towels everyday. Hope they do clean well since the room is very compact.…
Booked this hotel last minute due to problems with my previous residence and I wish I’d stayed here the entire the time. Excellent location with Merlion/Marina Bay Sands in walking distance, or you can jump on the subway which is a 2 minute walk. Staff were very friendly on arrival as well. As their motto, ‘small is more’ suggests, the rooms are small but it has everything you need. Very comfortable bed and a decent shower. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed one night in this hotel. It was overall a comfortable stay, amenities are okay. The Hotel is located near restaurants and public transport so it is very convenient. The only bad thing is that the hairdryer in our room is not working ):
Location is great, cute neighborhood and close to a lot of activities. Room was modern but no separation from the bathroom - not my thing at all, especially since I was sharing the room with a friend. Staff is really nice, but I would not go back due to this “structure” issue.
