We chose this hotel because of the location which is excellent… near MRT Farrer Park Station, Little India, Mustafa Centre , City Square Mall and Beach Road Scissors Cut Curry Rice is just across the road. The De Luxe room that we stayed is really much spacious and clean and they even have a small fridge and AC is working fine. Housekeeping, wifi, daily amenities provided. If you’re looking for price value and great location, this is a good option.

Booked three rooms with them. The rooms are spacious and clean. Price is reasonable compared to other hotels. The location is good. Both Indian and local food available at walking distance. Mustafa center also nearby. Easy to get taxi. Bus stop right in front of the hotel.

I stayed here for a whole week attending BA2014. The rooms are kept clean and tidy. I was given a smoking room even though I asked for a nonsmoking room. For some reason they seem not to like people booing through Agoda.
The room I stayed is on 3rd floor and quite. Wifi is free but not steady.
Do not book this hotel for breakfast which is included its same set menu day in day out and is the basic American Breakfast. If you are vegetarian then you are in trouble for sure. Menu is Two eggs, Two sausages, piece of bacon, cold beans, two hash browns, and you can have bread and butter, tea and cereals that’s it.
Hotel is nearer to bus stops on either direction so traveling is not difficult. 24Hour Mustafa Centre is about 400M away and you get all the ethnic food you possibly want around the shopping mall.
Nothing much to write about this hotel except I will not be staying here again

On the 27. 10. 2022 we arrived in singapore about 7.00 am and booked this hotel with the hope that they would give us an early check in about 8.30 am , we arrived at the hotel and the a very unfriendly man who was the night receptionist asked us for another 100 dollars extra for an early check in or we would have to come back at 2,00 pm . and check in ,. i am fully aware that the check in time was 2.00pm . the next day i asked the ladys at the reception who were helpfull and they informed if there are rooms available they give the customer the room , But this nasty night man did not want to do that . Employees like this give the hotel a bad name , the hotel is ok with old rooms which is not a problem , Avoid this hotel due to this nasty man who is the night receptionist He should be fired . The staff should undestand that people have been travelling for 13 hours for a trip from europe to singapore .and should be more helpfull.

Paid $70 on Agoda. No breakfast. Small but ok sized room and good sized bathroom. Basic furnishing. Carpet a bit sticky. No water provided. No hand towels. Combined shower / bath. Seemed clean enough but a funny smell to the sheets. Checkin process was unnecessarily bureaucratic: requiring the Agoda booking number to be provided. Very poor sound insulation and low quality guests staying a few rooms away: slamming doors and loud voices in the corridor throughout the entire night. Hardly any sleep even with earplugs. Ok location close to Little India and various cafes and restaurants. Free WiFi worked well. But far too noisy for me to stay again.

This is a Budget hotel, that does not feel like one. At least, not for the money paid. I've nothing but praise for this place and I wonder how this has escaped the hordes of budget travellers in Little India (its located on the edge of Little India). This hotel is by the same owners as THE STRAND HOTEL on Bencoolen Street, but cheaper.

I contacted this property directly, after desperately trying to escape from another hotel we had booked for the Christmas week. Because of peak season, no hotel had vacancies but luckily this place had one room available when I walked in. - Someone else walked in soon after me, and had to walk out disappointed :-)

The hotel is walking distance (5 mins.) from Mustafa Center and 10 mins from Farrer Park MRT. The exterior is not glittery. The lobby is carpeted, very clean and the reception is good. The walls are also "carpeted", gives it a plush look. I liked that carpeted look!

The friendly person on the desk gave me a big smile and said the rent was S$70, including taxes but no breakfast. Man, I felt like reaching out from behing the counter and hugging him, he didn't know I was paying S$90 in the crap hotel I was trying to escape from.

And I was getting FREE Internet here. I learnt that I could come down to the lobby and use the wireless internet with my laptop. I was getting something free in Singapore...Yayyy!

The hotel is not 3-star, but the rooms were as good as the 3-star hotels we've stayed in. Everything was clean, the bathrooms, carpets, bedsheets, towels...if I find a clean hotel, its won me over even before I've stayed there.

The room was carpeted and we liked the styling. There was no noise and the hotel was very peaceful. I think it had todo with the carpeted walls in the entire hotel. The TV worked find, though just local channels.

The Bathroom had a standard tub, shower and the usual liquid soap, face tissue etc. My grudge with the Bathroom was that it had NO LATCH and I personally feel awkard doing my thing with an unlatched door. And I had my extremely naughty 3-yr old son with me who thought it made a nice game to open the door whenever Mom or Dad went in. Anyway, maybe you don't have naughty kids...but don't you feel odd doing your "daily things" with an unlatched door?

There was a split cupboard in the room, a table and a bed sidetable. All were made good use of. There was an electronic safe in the cupboard and I wanted to use it (to keep our passports) but it kept giving some error. I believe the reception called someone to fix the safe, but that never happened. Anyway, it wasn't a big deal.

Housekeeping was good, room was always spick-n-span when we came back.

The internet was great, very fast... and did I mention, its FREE :-)

On the last day, we had to leave early morning at 4:30 AM and we had a lot of luggage - 8 pieces of luggage with all the shopping. I went out and flagged a taxi (at 4:30 am, taxis are still thick on the roads)... and I looked back and the 2 friendly reception managers were coming out holding our bags while my wife had a sheepish grin on her face.

Apparently, the dudes decided to be chivalrous seeing my wife's condition (expecting mother) and our many bags. This is positively the first time in my life I've had Reception Managers help out with our luggage.

I will positively stay there on our next stay...unless we decide on their other hotel (The Strand) mainly because its near the Dhoby Gaut MRT interchange. The plus point with their Bencoolen St. hotel is that its closer to Orchard, if you like the place (which we did)

All said, this is the best budget hotel you are going to get in Singapore, especially in this price...and if you are Indian like me and want Indian food and want to frequent the 24hr Mustafa Center, then is where you should be bunking.

We were a group of 11 people with Family & Kids and wanted to a nice budget hotel. We had a few choices but narrowed down to Classique Hotel. I was very apprehensive when we shortlisted this Hotel; but was very surprised when I landed there.

The Hotel is located on the Main road of Jalen Besar and 5 mins walk to Mustafa Center and Citi Mall. There are plenty of Indian food joints in walk-able distance. You also have access to the MRT from Farrer Park (basement of Citi Square Mall). You can also find Cabs right outside the Hotel and convenient to travel anywhere you want in Singapore. The Hotel is about 15 mins drive to places such as Bugi's Junction, Clarke Quay, Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands and Orchard Road.

We have taken 2 Triple Bedrooms and 1 Double Bedroom. The Hotel is very decent and a great budget hotel and very safe. The rooms were of decent sizes and was very convenient. We had a roadside view which overlooked a colonial building. The Beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was well maintained and good with a bathtub. The only negative in the room was that it does not have a power socket except the TV point and uses a Rectangular pin socket. So you may want to carry your power adapter.

The Breakfast is pretty decent as well and does not change. You have standard English Breakfast that severs Bread, Cereals, Juice, Eggs, Hashbrown (must try), Beans and Bacon.

If you are looking for a budget Hotel, go without a Hesitation to Classique.

We decided to book this hotel for our last 2 nights in SG. And we regretted that we did not stay here in our first 3 nights. I love that for a standard room and budget hotel, it still has a bath tub. The bed is comfortable, and floor is carpeted. Exceeded my expectations. Only that the room has a distinct smell, not really bad smell, more like but I hope it could be neutralized. All amenities were provided and granted our requests like clothes iron and iron board very fast. I'd like to commend their front desk associate Adam, who really did his best in helping us get tickets for the Sea Aquarium, as well as the Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa Cable cars. We really appreciate it, Adam. And he is also enthusiastic in giving directions, providing us additional info. Look for him, he's very friendly! Too bad he wasn't around on our last stay. Because of him, our stay became memorable and more convenient. We'd love to stay here again if he's still around.

My boyfriend and I visited Singapore for the second time last October 2015 from around 20th to 24th and UNFORTUNATELY we decided to stay at Classique Hotel, which should be rated 0 stars, not even 1. Why? The reasons are listed below:

1. Dirty bathroom without amenities (NO toothpaste, NO shampoo, NO soap)
2. Invisible housekeeping even if you ask at the reception they will not listen to your requests. We asked for a toothpaste and they say "NO". What the hell??
3. Awful rooms: NO windows, smelly bed sheets, empty dirty bathroom (like the ones you can see in the movies for prisoners on jail).
4. Smelly reception.
5. Unfriendly staff.
6. Expensive rate for a 0 star service.

There are plenty of hotels in Singapore. Do not make our same mistake! The only good thing is that we love going around so we used the hotel only to sleep and that was more than enough.
They should close it down or change management and renew it all!
