Kampong Glam is always my favorite part of Singapore to stay. A short stroll to dinner in Arab Street, Call to Prayer and the mosque lit at night, good value food and ambience….all good things for us. This was our first time staying at Hotel Clover though and I have to say that less than a month later we have...

I booked this hotel online thru booking.com thru my sister in- law and paid for it thru her credit card except for the 1 day extension. However, she belatedly told me that there was additional charges which I thought was for the additional day, however upon arrival we were made to pay again. But I didn't mind it that time. The...

Booked a garden suite. Picture is attatched of the garden. It's just a small area with plants on the wall. Just enough room to turn around. It has a king size bed but the room is very small and dated. The room key does the work so we had to get a replacement. The staff are polite though unhelpful. They...

Booked a solo stay for the single standard garden terrace room. Room has a resort feel. Though room is small, it has been creatively maximised. A separate shower stall and a toilet with a sliding door. The garden terrace which is quite small allows natural light into the room and fresh air. It also does help to create a resort...

1 night here with my girlfriends over the weekend and highly recommended. Such a lovely and clean room for such a price! Nearby Arab street so it was very easy to get halal food for the Muslims and its 10mins away frm Bugis station. Will definitely come again

Staying in Kampong Glam

Neighbourhood Profile
Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly coloured fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Centre and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
