Had a one-night stay on a weekday. The staff manning the check-in counters and the Guest Services phone line were professional, friendly and helpful. Makes you feel welcomed. They agreed to my request for change of rooms and even advised the type of rooms they had.
The air-conditioning was good and the beds were comfortable. The chair, however, should be substituted with a larger one that is used in most hotel but they probably couldn't do that due to space constraints. At least that chair should have a seat cushion/cover that is less dated. Mugs and coffee/tea sachets are provided and one good thing to note was that instead of the plastic disposable water bottles, they have provided with a carafe for water consumption. One thing I loved, was that on every floor, there will be a water and ice dispenser.
The toilet did have a weird smell when I entered for the first time but nothing serious. The view from my Superior Twin Room was superb. Facing the Jurong East Central. Location was great! They had an overhead bridge to the public library opposite and accessible to the various malls and MRT station from there.

I have been here for at least 2 nights, mostly on weekend to have a peace of mind for work planning as well as relaxation. First check in, i was impressed with the manager named Mike of his flexibility and quick decision making. I went for the second night and the experience at the front desk officer namely Li Na impressed me as well. I will not hesitate to recommend to my friends etc to stay in Genting Hotel Jurong. The overall cleanness in the room and the super experience with the front desk officer including the managers deserve my commendation and respect compared to some of the hotels that i have stayed for staycation purposes before. i will continue to come as and when to this hotel and this hotel has become one of my favorite.

Checked in the hotel on 5 February 2020, the Receptionist Lina was great as I told her that I have accidentally booked an extra night and would like to cancel the extra night. She was kind and attentive to my queries and said that she will follow through.
On second day of my stay received an email from Reservations Jessica Goh, was not very pleased with what she wrote to me. So, I try to write again and seeking to see higher authority who could assist my challenges. Indeed, it was such a pleasant to hear from Mike Loi who call me and told me to meet up with him. Gave him all the details and show him all my evidence so that he could proceed further for approval on the cancellation of an extra night.
Mike is very helpful and he fits the role in front office as he is gifted in the area of good listening, patient and a very helpful staff you have. In fact, he was so patient and kind that he went extra mile to compare prices of taxi and grabs for us. That's great and not many people will do that. He has done a great job and that boost the image of the hotel. Love to come back to the hotel again and maybe stay longer as this trip was short due to attending a funeral service of a dear Pastor.
Overall your hotel is clean and love the mattress, firm and great to sleep on.

Here for a couple of nights recently. Rooms are the basic type, beds were comfy and firm. Space is at a premium....there's barely 2 feet of space around the bed. The bathroom was also a tight squeeze....with a triangular footprint for the shower area, one gets to practise contortions maneuvers. A/C works well, and cooled the room appropriately for the temp. settings.
THere is also a water/ice dispenser on every floor. Laundromat, fitness room and outdoor pool are located on the 2nd level. The fitness room was also equipped with basic equipment, a couple of treadmills, an elliptical, free weights and a weights machine. Also a pretty small space. Outdoor pool has glass on its side and a couple of viewports that allowed people on Level 1 to look at what's transpiring in the pool.
There is a free shutle to the Resorts World Hotel on the island of Sentosa, where the casino and many other attractions are located. WIthin walking distance is the Jurong East MRT station, shopping and lots of food options.

A hotel for a more modest budget in Singapore, we chose this specifically because we were driving down from Malaysia and wanted a hotel close to the Tuas checkpoint with easy parking. The Genting Hotel met our requirements and it was an easy 15 min drive and there was ample parking in the basement. They had car lifts for busier periods but there was no sign they were used during our stay. Parking was also free during the 2 days we stayed there. The lobby is spacious and airy, and the rooms themselves were very small. We booked a double room but for some reason, were given 2 singles instead, which didn't really matter. Our room looked out onto some fields, it was equipped with a TV, safe and small writing desk. A small bathroom was also carved out of a corner of the room, with a sink, toilet and shower - all quite basic but functional and most importantly, clean. The hotel cafe/restaurant is large but food offerings are bland and somewhat expensive. Best to eat elsewhere. There is a mall just across the road, and an MRT station less than 10 mins walk away, another useful option instead of taking a taxi. It is a fairly long journey to the city centre, about 20 mins or so, which might be the biggest drawback of this hotel.

I booked the hotel for a small family of 2 adults and a 3 year old. I was supposed to check in alone first and the rest of my family was joining me in a couple of days. Check in was quick and staff was polite enough for me not to complain. Then came a few surprises. I walked into a double occupancy room too small for my expectation. The bed size was 5 X 6 ft (approx) and to my biggest horror, no cupboards at all. I did feel uncomfortable leaving my belongings in the open but was manageable until my family joined me and the space was simply not enough. The space between the bed and the wall on all 3 sides was less than 2ft, way too small for two people to move across abreast. My daughter found it too small for her taste and was cranky most of the time we were indoors.
Having said that there were some good things as well. Well behaved staff. Morning breakfast buffet was great and menu was rotated everyday. Location was pretty near to MRT, bus stops and few good malls (in fact right across the street is JCube and Westgate / Jem are also walkable). For Indian travelers insistent on home cuisine please look for Anjana's Kitchen (also walkable).
Inside the property, I really liked the huge lobby and the pool area. I think it is green themed or something, so there were some good standing decks with plants which were good.
All in all, if your itinerary includes a lot of time indoors, it is probably not the best choice but if you can spend some time outside in the facility it is a good pick.

We stayed here because this hotel was closest to people we were visiting. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to several malls and the MRT (train station). Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet with a king bed.
The room and bathroom are small. We had a king bed, a desk and a small area for hanging clothes. There were narrow shelves above the bed and in the bathroom. There were no nightstands (room was too small to fit them). The in-room amenities included tea, Nescafe, a kettle, water bottles, slippers and toothbrushes. There were wall mounted liquid soap and shampoo dispensers (no brand was noted). We had difficulty working the TV and thermostat. The room always seemed to cold or warm.

Strategic location for Jurong Island visitor. Regular cleaning is carried out upon request while having trouble with small Re-filledable water bottle which require frequent walk to filled up. Clean and convenient with power plugs. Very kind and supportive staffs provided great service. Special thanks to Christine. Easy access to subway station, JEM mall, and food court.
One of disadvantage is that you have to pay for laundry every time to proceed the service. Credit card is not acceptable, but if you use Grab pay, it will be easy to use the laundry service.
Laundry machine is located at 2nd floor. 10 SGD for washing and 10 SGD for drying.
No buffet style. 2 options for your breakfast. Local food & Western food.

We stayed here for 5 nights and were impressed by the level of service given - the staff we met here were friendly and efficient. Room was clean, big (for Singapore Standards) and with a view. There’s a tap with filtered water in the room, and an ice machine just down the corridor. The hotel is a 10min-15min walk to the subway station, and in close vicinity to 3 malls, so we had a good variety of food choices too.
We found out on our last day that the bus stop right in front of the hotel would bring us straight to the subway station. Good tip for anyone lazy to walk that 10-15mins!

30 to 45 minutes depending on how you want to get there. Easiest by taxi but most expensive as well. You could take a bus from the interchange, which would be the longest and 45 minutes would not cut it. It would cost about the same as taking the MRT. So taking the MRT would be the best option.
Two lines to consider: East West Line means you would have to change trains at Raffles Place to get to Orchard, but it is slightly faster. North South Line means a direct ride to Orchard but it is a longer ride.
