This JW Marriott Hotel in Singapore is one of the best Marriott properties I have ever stayed at (since I am a Lifetime Platinum Elite member, I have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years). It is connected to a few malls and restaurants, by covered walkways and inside buildings. We were within walking distance to many of the downtown attractions, or an easy cab ride to those a little farther away (since it is so warm and humid here, the air conditioned cab ride was appreciated). Our room was on the 15th floor, with great views looking towards the south and the ocean in the distance. We had a king size bed and a large room, with a hallway (couch in the hallway) to the bedroom and bathroom. We really liked the heated toilet seat (since we don't have one at home, this was a treat, especially when used in the middle of the night). But our real highlight was the Executive Lounge. This lounge was one of the largest ones I have ever seen, so lots of room to find a table or couch to sit, even when it was busy. The food here was superb and they had a chef in the lounge to cook your eggs in the morning (lovely breakfast selections) and in the evening for hors d'oeuvres (we found we did not need to go out for dinner, since the selection of food was enough to fill us, and we had just come off being on a cruise for the past month and ate a fair bit there). But the highlight in this lounge was the complementary bar and the staff in this lounge. One of the hostesses, Hazel, got to know us over our 3 day stay, and made sure we were well taken care of. We really appreciated this service. The Singapore Slings she brought us were delicious (good thing we didn't have to drive home). Hazel and her fellow team mates (Greg, Norma and Gab), provided a great experience for my wife and I and all the others who frequented this lounge. We can't wait to return to Singapore and will definitely be staying at this hotel again!…

Good sized room with an odd pass through (open window) from the bathroom sink to the room itself. It can be closed off with a sliding mirror but I'll never really understand the trend where hotels try to combine the bathroom with the room itself. Club lounge was very nice with breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour. I definitely recommend a visit to the sky garden for great views. Location was very convenient. Walkable to the subway system and surrounding malls. Would definitely stay again.
