We made our reservation through Booking. We paid accordingly as 2 adults and 1 child. When the hotel gave the rooms later, they gave us 2 adult rooms. When we asked where the child would sleep, they said they could only serve 2 adults. They said you could upgrade the room and asked for a difference of 60 USD and said they would definitely not produce a solution. We had to sleep as 3 people in the bed. If you do not want your beautiful holiday to turn into a nightmare, definitely do not choose this hotel.

The rooms are small but clean, and the hotel is easy enough to reach with MTR. The sevice on the other hand.. We went out for the day and came back to the room to find it cleand up, but my neclace broken. Someone had broked my neclace with a wooden pendant and left half of the pendant on the nigt stand. I went to tell the front desk. I said that it's not expensive and I can fix it but I just need the missing half. He was nice enough to come and look and make a report to the manager, as we didn't find the missing parts. The next morning as we were checking out, the manager just stated that they had asked their cleaners who said that they had not broken my neclace "You say they broke it, and they say they didn't, so what do you want us to do" I was shocked when she continued "we can make the cleaners come and pay for your neclace but.." So I just said I was unhappy with how they handled this but as there wasn't anythin they were going to do or say, we just left.

I stayed in this hotel, one of the balcony rooms in the past. It’s pretty cosy and ok for short few nights stay.
This time round, I managed to get a king suite (: Best decision ever. Though it was a last minute booking, Eileen was very kind and helped to arrange everything!
There were towel folded swans on the bed. The furnishings are well maintained. And it was pretty quiet once you get into the room. They have a sofa seating area which could accommodate friends if they visit.
The best feature in this suite is the tub. It’s the absolute best tub I’ve been in ( even compared to some of the higher end places) and my partner and I agree that we would stay at hotel Yan’s suite just to spend time in it. It fits couples nicely or for someone with a lager physique.
Location is fantastic, cheap food to something more mid ranged, desserts.
Pice for the rooms is also really reasonable and it won’t put a hole in your wallet.

Been here a few times but facilities vary because some room rain shower head not functioning, tap loose, fridge not cold, room have a few string of hairs. New staffs on board not willing to give repeat guest complimentary lco 12 noon not asking to 1pm or whatsoever. Their managers and senior staffs are well trained. A malay thin lady without consider guests unwell or whatsoever just reject. To the top management, please look into staffs verbiage and who are the repeat guests who given you business.

The shortest hotel stay I've enter had. Checked in and checked out in less than 2 hours.
The room was small but I didn't expect anything else given the price I paid and it didn't concern me.
However the cleanliness of the room was a major concern. There was more hair on the ground than on my head (I'm not bald). There was a rug in the room and there was lots of hair on it. I wasn't brave enough to look under it. There were also bugs in the room as I was bitten multiple times during the short time I was in the room. The whole room looked dirty.
The staff were helpful and refunded my payment after I complained about the cleanliness of the room.

Regular pest control checks are conducted frequently and additional cleaning has been carried out. Further investigation by the Pest Control shows no bugs in your room. Our Team would certainly have helped you out most heartily if you would have approached them for assistance. Enjoying your 2 hours stay in the hotel and then checked out making unreasonable comments, no proof of multiple bug bites and demanding for a refund. This is certainly not justifiable. We refunded the money out of grace and good will (case to case basis), not because the incident took place, but in the end, not appreciated, you still make an unjustifiable comment. Came with friend for a staycation, we liked the ambience and atmosphere of the hotel, the hotel counter staff is friendly too, she greeted us with a smile and let us check-in early. Location is good as the hotel is near a lot of F&B places and MRT stations. There's only one minor flaw: Nobody came to clean up our room even though I had already put out the "Please Clean Up Room" sign 😅. A suggestion to do up the plants at the balcony, it will be a plus point if theres more greenery there :)

Hotel Yan is a wonderful place to stay. From the moment you walk in until the minute you leave, the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They go out of their way to help their guests. The rooms, albeit are small but they are very comfortable for two people . The bed is comfortable and the bedding is luxurious. They provide high quality toiletries and keep your bar fridge filled with drinks and treats. The place is immaculate. We look forward to staying at Hotel Yan again and highly recommend it to others.

The hotel is reasonably priced, which translates into small rooms. Two people with two suitcases and no room for anything else. But in the end, we just slept there and didn't need anything else. The reception service is available 24 hours a day, very nice and helpful young people. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but there is a cafe quite close or next to the metro station a place with toast.

Booked the luxury suite for 1 night. Very large bathtub and spacious room and bathroom. Staff were very friendly and accommodating:) would recommend for the television to be pulled out more in order to have it closer to the bed. Overall very good experience and will stay again.

Hotel Yan is a good place for a short stay. Our room was not much larger than the bed (although the bed was huge), so you are not going to want to spend much time hanging around in your room. The room was clean, although the wallpaper was peeling and we lost power at one stage. It is very well located - close to Metro and buses with, surprisingly for Singapore lots of good options nearby.

Roken is erg lastig in Singapore. Het was voor mij er onduidelijk, dan durf je ook niet omdat de boete erg hoog is 500Singapore Dollar! Er zijn plekken met asbakken waar je mag roken. Aan de overkant van de straat een plek gevonden om te roken
