From MRT Lavender, out from exit B, walk to road behide V hotel about 10 minutes. Room is small but cozy bed, comfortable and quiet. Staffs are friendly and warm welcome. Eco Loft single room without hair dryer.I recommend for deluxe or window room that more light from outside. It's good memory for me here.This is good choice for comfortable and quiet hotel.

The distribution of the room is not the most convenient, I will suggest it for someone young who can get up and down the bunker bed. The fact the hotel does not have a restaurant makes it difficult just to get something as simple as ICE. There are small details that make the travel convenient, this was not the case.

On arrival, we received great hospitable service by the receptionist. She was very welcoming and despite arriving early from an early flight, she was very helpful in ensuring our room would be ready as quick as possible. The room was small, and even smaller with two suitcases! We did anticipate the size of the room, but I am not quite sure we expected it to be as small as it was. Nevertheless the room was clean, quaint and provided the amenities we required. This hotel is well situated, walking distance to the local MRT and bus services meaning it was very easy to get around. We arrived 3 hours before check in time and we were really just hoping to leave our luggages behind and just come back for it when it’s check in time. But, upon getting to the reception, they allowed to have an early check in without extra costs! It was really appreciated. The room, albeit a bit tiny, was pleasant. It had toiletries, free mini bar, and it was well kept.

Lovely relaxing stay. Modern decor, Nice staff. Well located next to excellent speciality coffee shop/cafe in interesting part of town. Public transport links good, would recommending taking buses as well as MRT. Only downside was some noise from other rooms, but not too troublesome.

The area was surrounded with constructions here and there. And during our stay we were told there was an ongoing construction in the building itself so we have to put up with it from 9-5. Room is a tad too small for long stays i think Apart from all that, check in was a breeze. minibar were all free! Gotta love the floor to ceiling glass window!

Stayed in a Premium Single Double (confusing I know) with my partner. The room is tiny and we saw 2 baby cockroaches over our 2 night stay. Soundproofing was poor - room faced the Tibetan temple which sounded their gong at 1.30am, plus it was on the 2nd floor and we could also clearly hear street noise. Room is poorly designed - aside from 1 tiny bedside table, there is no table space anywhere. The concrete floor is very slippery even when dry, especially with the floor towel on top. Also water pooled onto the floor below the sink after we used it. The AC was positioned to blow directly on 1 half of the bed, as a result we had to sleep with it turned off. 1 hanger was broken and the curtains do not cut out all the light. We needed to stay near Jalan Besar stadium, so chose Hotel Yan for its great proximity. The property is very clean and convenient to markets for affordable meals. Right next door to the Chye Seng Heat Hardware for great coffee and delicious breakfast. The hotel room that we stayed in - deluxe double with balcony view - was one of the smallest rooms we’ve stayed in anywhere, but was fine if you plan on being out and about all day. Strong perfume (incense?) smell in the common area near the lifts, which may be an issue for people with allergies, but this didn’t extend to our room. The bed was comfortable. We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect for what we needed. The rooms are small, but we spent most of our time exploring the city and it was nice to come back to a clean hotel, clean room, and comfy bed! The staff are all very friendly and allowed us to check in early when we arrived. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area.
