The location of this hotel is its main USP. It is a 5 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station (Lavender) and only 3 stations away from the CBD and Marina Bay area. There are eateries, food courts, restaurants, supermarket, grocery and convenience stores, banks and ATMs all within walking distance. The famous Mustafa Centre City Square Mall are within 15 minutes walking distance. The room was small but nice and tidy. The room I stayed had no windows, which took some time to get used to. The bed was really cosy. The free Wi-Fi speed was good. The breakfast was with limited options but prepared fresh and the portion size was good. The bathroom was quite well designed and it was nice to find L'Occitane toiletries. Note : I travelled in 2017. This is a late review.

Don't be fooled by the entrance, even though it looks small, it has 5 storeys of rooms. Great hotel to stay, single room is small which is perfect for minimalists like me. Love the cleanliness and room design. The WiFi speed is good, fast enough to watch videos and browse the Internet. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious! Definitely recommend for the price and would stay again. 👍🏻

Situated right in the middle of housing area, where locals go about their daily businesses. Just a few stations away from The Central shopping district. A few steps if you are willing to walk, from Bugis’ colourful Arabic district. Arcadia Hotel is not your usual business hotel. It is a boutique hotel under the Heritage preservation. I chatted up with the receptionist cum cleaner cum housekeeper cum chef. 2021 is the 6th year since Arcadia started and his 6th year with the hotel.
I chose the Arcadia Balcony room which cost about SGD230 which includes a simple breakfast.
A very simple room, with bathtub facility. Clean however a bit worn down. There’s many amenities within walking distance - fast food, supermarket, restaurants and a food court. From Lavender station, walk towards the food alley. The hotel is just 10 min’s walk away.

I stayed at this hotel when it first opened 5+ years ago and it was a stylish, modern and friendly place to stay. I was shocked to see in December how neglected, dirty and rundown the place had become - from the reception area to the hallways and our room. Windows were grimy, carpets stained, and furniture on our 'patio' damaged. Front desk staff were unhelpful. My travel partner and I were fortunate to secure a cancellation of the booking due to substandard hygiene conditions. The images used to advertise this hotel online are misleading.

Very clean small room with no window with loccitane products available in shower area. Nearby area have a lot of restaurants to buy food from. Quiet hotel with minimal disturbance. Did not try breakfast so cannot comment on it. Will stay again in this hotel.

Room is tiny. Can hear the corridor with people talking and banging their doors. Bathroom no hand towels. No soap plate. Shower tiles are dirty. Shower curtain mouldy. Bath mat with marks on it. Curtain by the windows half not hanging properly and dangling. Someone open our door whilst we were in the room !!! Good job we lock and latch it !!! Not very nice hotel and it’s suppose to be 4 stars . Avoid if you can as I regret booking this place.

While the room was clean and quiet, it was the TINIEST hotel room that we have ever stayed in, and had ZERO windows! Their website shows lovely, windowed rooms upstairs. We were given one of the 4 downstairs windowless rooms….And NOT at a discount!
The front desk staff were very kind, but no other room was offered.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Arcadia in March 2016. The decor is tastefully done, and the rooms are well furnished. One of the things that stood out for me was the attention to detail. For a boutique hotel, a lot of thought went into the elements of each room. The toiletries supplied were of a luxurious quality, and the coffee machine and choice coffee and tea were a nice surprise.

What really stood out for me, however, was the service. Charles and Randy, who run the hotel, are extremely helpful, and do their best to ensure their guests have the best experience possible. Charles pays careful attention to his guests' needs, and always makes you feel you're well taken care of. He also makes sure your breakfast is served piping hot, and done the way you like it!

My experience at the Arcadia has left me with a smile and fond memories, and I'm looking forward to the next time I'll be back. Oh yeah, try the pancakes Charles makes -- it's crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. Perfect with butter and maple syrup!

We have just returned from 3 nights at the Arcadia Hotel prior to a 5 night cruise from Singapore.

The hotel is small, friendly and very well located for people wishing to spend time in Singapores interesting little districts rather than the City.

Arcadia has great staff who made us very comfortable and welcome. The breakfast is served on the ground floor near reception and is very high quality with beautiful presentation and value for money.

If you want to venture out everything is really close and we never needed a taxi or other transport during our stay until we were ready for the cruise terminal.

Something to note about the hotel is that most rooms have no windows as the hotel is low level and situated in a nice back street just off the Lavender main road, this was quite a shock and took some getting used to so worth considering if you are staying for a while. We didn't mind too much but it is a bit strange. However the hotel is small, modern and very clean and there is a small roof garden on the top which has nice fresh air before bed and limited views of the area.

The local area is very well served for amenities with a 7-11 supermarket, several quality restaurants very close. Anything you want is walking distance. For example at the end of the street and turn left there is a wonderful sports facility with soccer stadium, public swimming pools etc available at very reasonable prices.

A gentle half hour stroll will take you towards Little India District with fabulous malls and the legendary Mustafa Mall which sells literally every possible item you could want and its open 24/7 including Sunday so it really never closes.

Little India has great tourist shops and restaurants plus its really interesting to visit and people watch.

If you want to eat out we used Broadway food court at the end of Hamilton Road just minutes from the hotel. It was convenient and popular with locals and businesses people and again is wonderful for cheap quality food and people spotting.

We would highly recommend Arcadia for a stay and will consider it should we return to Singapore in future.

It's about half an hour by taxi from the airport and very close by taxi to the cruise terminal both options are very reasonably priced.

I had a horrible experience at this extremely tiny hotel. Not a place I will stay again at. The room had no windows, it was very tight and small. It was clean though. There is room service or a kitchen that can cater for late night snack in case you check in late.

I am not 100% sure but I would say just local channels. In our tv we had about 12 channels and they were not so interesting to be honest. All of them were in english though.
