Situated right in the middle of housing area, where locals go about their daily businesses. Just a few stations away from The Central shopping district. A few steps if you are willing to walk, from Bugis’ colourful Arabic district. Arcadia Hotel is not your usual business hotel. It is a boutique hotel under the Heritage preservation. I chatted up with the receptionist cum cleaner cum housekeeper cum chef. 2021 is the 6th year since Arcadia started and his 6th year with the hotel. I chose the Arcadia Balcony room which cost about SGD230 which includes a simple breakfast. A very simple room, with bathtub facility. Clean however a bit worn down. There’s many amenities within walking distance - fast food, supermarket, restaurants and a food court. From Lavender station, walk towards the food alley. The hotel is just 10 min’s walk away.

Don't be fooled by the entrance, even though it looks small, it has 5 storeys of rooms. Great hotel to stay, single room is small which is perfect for minimalists like me. Love the cleanliness and room design. The WiFi speed is good, fast enough to watch videos and browse the Internet. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious! Definitely recommend for the price and would stay again. 👍🏻

Room Tip: Avoid the Soon Soon Soon Wanton Noodles shop across the street, the food is one of the worst...

Very clean small room with no window with loccitane products available in shower area. Nearby area have a lot of restaurants to buy food from. Quiet hotel with minimal disturbance. Did not try breakfast so cannot comment on it. Will stay again in this hotel.

The location of this hotel is its main USP. It is a 5 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station (Lavender) and only 3 stations away from the CBD and Marina Bay area. There are eateries, food courts, restaurants, supermarket, grocery and convenience stores, banks and ATMs all within walking distance. The famous Mustafa Centre City Square Mall are within 15 minutes walking distance. The room was small but nice and tidy. The room I stayed had no windows, which took some time to get used to. The bed was really cosy. The free Wi-Fi speed was good. The breakfast was with limited options but prepared fresh and the portion size was good. The bathroom was quite well designed and it was nice to find L'Occitane toiletries. Note : I travelled in 2017. This is a late review.

Had been eyeing on this hotel for a while now base on the photos online. Had to stay a night out in town so took this chance to experience Arcadia. The hotel which located quite a distance from nearby MRT, it's situated around the same area of all other budget hotels. Yes, I said it. This hotel which doesn't look budget given the rates is par with other hotels out there which is 4* or higher quality in rooms and area. The hotel is slightly rundown, and the soundproofing isn't exactly great as well. Oh, there's also renovation going on next door so expect noise if you need the room during the day to rest. I book the loft room, but since I need to check in early, I was given "patio room" with some additional charge. Did actually expecting an actual patio, but it's actually only a small balcony overlooking back alleys if the neighborhood. The room, small but expected. The bed is comfy which deserve my 3 star rating instead of 2 and below. The bathroom is also decent, long and deep sunken type - but, the management have to review their towels given to guest. It's really old. I know I shouldn't complain much since this is categorized as budget boutique. But base on the asking rate, there's so much more choices out there. Didn't check out the actual patio area which comes with a jacuzzi. I would not recommend this hotel base on my experience and expectations. The only best things worth mentioning is the comfy bed and loccitane toiletries.

The service was really good, breakfast was nice, and the room was nice and tidy too. The location of the hotel was very vonveninent, 5 minutes walk feom the MRT station and onnly 3 stations away from Marina bay. The only unusual thing was the fact that the room had no windows🙄😳 which was kind of a challenge to get used to. If you are someone who is always on the road and comes bach to the hotel only to sleep, than it is a really good place, if you are rathrr the person who spends time in the room or are claustrophobic than leave it be.

I do not recommend this hotel. The room pictures and descriptions are a lie and the manager is a horrible person. We booked a deluxe room with a window as stated in the room description and picture (Agoda) but didn't get what we paid for. They were not willing to provide the room we booked for so we ended up checking-out and booking a much better and cheaper hotel 2 steps away. My advice: Stay away.

No frills hotel with simple amenities. Pros: - comfortable bed - good selection of channels on TV - good water pressure in the shower - good & friendly staff service. The guy at the counter brought my luggage up - there is a nearby 24hrs foodcourt - l’ocitanne shower products - good coffee & breakfast in the hotel itself Cons: - mouldy shower curtains - thin walls but bearable - dirty carpets - wall papers are stained and peeling off Paid about USD$100/night, worth it. Only needed a place to sleep for a quick overnight business trip

We booked for a "deluxe" room with and requested a room with window which we understood was subject to availability. Didn't end up getting one which was okay, but absolutely disappointed with how the room was. The wallpapers looked like they were torn off and to me this doesnt reflect the $154/night price that we paid. This might sound very superficial, but it felt like we were staying in a budget hotel - which I believe it wasnt priced as one. The receptionist offered us another deluxe room, which was pretty much the same.. I decided to book at another place after thinking about it over dinner. Only after we came back to check out that same night that we were offered an upgrade to the Loft room, which didnt matter anyway because by that time we already confirmed for another hotel. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Take the price down to a sub-$100 and may consider it. To me the presentation of the hotel is important to my holiday experience.
