Stick to dim sum if you’re going for lunch. It’s much better, and we enjoyed pretty much all the dim sum dishes. We do come pretty regularly.
One small thing that annoyed us though was how the male manager of the restaurant would repeatedly talk loudly to himself by exclaiming ‘Kup’ Kup’ ‘Kup’ all the time, whether walking from table to table, or to the kitchen, or to the front desk. Just startling and a bit irritating! Please can someone ask him to stop? Lol

However on the 2nd night when I change to the spa suite, the motor for the spa pool could not be turn off and it was so noisy that me and wife cannot sleep until 4am !
Around 2am, the motor was so noisy I had to walk around the whole club trying to find someone to help but to no Available. End up I had to walk to the security at the external gate before they direct me to the back of the club to find the duty manager.
After that, duty manager attended to my case immediately but it was resolved only 45 minutes later ! So we only sleep close to 3 30am.
Do note that before this, I had tried to call the room reservation and security number and nobody answer !!
Nobody in the club inform us or brief us about turning over the motor at night so the noise will be gone.
For anyone else planning to stay there, please do take note of the loud noise from the Motor especially from the spa room ! Maybe sure you do know how to turn it off at night.
Room quality was slight run-down but still relatively clean.
Oh ya, I did request for a complimentary night so the rather awful sleep which I had but it was turn-down. But they did offer a free room upgrade for my next stay
The restaurant was empty except for one other table. We both ordered the sirloin steak with a side order of French fries and a reasonable bottle of red to accompany the main course. The staff had no idea of any resemblance of service. The red wine was presented in white wine glasses before we asked them to change them. They served the French fries prior to serving the steak until we told them to take them back and serve with the main course. The steak arrived and was totally inedible which was returned. We never tried any of the other restaurants at the club.
Rooms was beautifully designed but the TV was old with only few channels to browse.
However, there was no answer when i tried to get some ice by calling room service. Also, during a breakfast session, at the cafe and terrace, with my friends, the waitress got our orders wrong and the manager rowani(i guess) in turn gave a face of disgust as if we're the ones who didn't know what we ordered. Food arrived, got sausages instead of bacon, scrambled eggs came with a flatbread beneath it and tasted bland and dry.
To end the story, the stay and facilities are alright to use, just stay away from the cafe and terrace unless it's a buffet.
We truly were sorry to be staying only one night.
We arrived in the late evening with with no local cash and a taxi driver who couldn't (or wouldn't) accept a credit card; and the front desk sorted him out. They also escorted us into our room with our luggage without angling for a tip, which is always refreshing when you come from another non-tipping country!
The sorted us out an extra roll-away bed, as we had 2 rooms for 5 of us.
The only niggle is that the adjoining doors which we'd specifically asked for didn't unlock. No matter - we were in a small cul-de-sac of the hallway so had relative privacy anyway.
The kids thought that the pool was heaven after a long flight; and we were pleased to sit next to it and be served food and drink.
We were also given vouchers for a "Welcome Drink" which turned out to be a mocktail.
There was a fruit bowl in the room, which was gratefully devoured by the hungry vultures. (Kids - not real vultures!).
I've seen comments about the small rooms on TripAdvisor; but honestly, that was not our experience. The layout is slightly different than the standard hotel layout, but personally I find that refreshing. I found that the bathrooms were of a larger-than-average size, and the rest of the room to be about average to a Marriott or similar.
Breakfast was served in a cafe near the pool; but they allowed us to eat outside on the pool verandah. The kids were in heaven with the tropical fruit and watermelon juice; and afterwards they went into the pool and on the waterslides again.
All in all, this is a great place to stay in Singapore with a family.
