I stayed here during winter, so the city and hostel were not crowded. Nina and Daniel (owners) are amazing and made me feel at home. Great location, great facilities, nice beds with warm blankets. Patcha, the big beautiful dog, is amazing and very calm. Good wifi, good well equipped kitchen. Everything you need in a hostel with a great home...

Really nice place. I was there during low season, but I would love to see the place during high season. Nice and cozy, I felt right at home. Warm room, really good bed. I really loved the bonfire place outside!! The dog staying there was adorable, constantly on the hunt for a petting. Nice, helpful staff, helping me book "activities",...

You'll love it. Cosy and friendly place with a great garden, simple but delicious breakfast, and spotless. Maybe it creaks a bit and the walls are thin but for us that didn't detract at all from our stay. Located halfway between town and the lake (2-3 blocks to each) so it is central yet quiet. Occasionally hard to find the...

Stayed here one night in the dorm room which is actually a seperate outside room. The room is very cramped and is made of paperthin material, there is no heater or powerplugs. Very difficult to sleep when there are rude people outside playing music and talking till the early hours. Its a shame as the owners are welcoming and helpful,...

I stay in hostels because of the atmosphere. This place has a great one. Easy to meet new people, learn about the area and find people to enjoy your vacation with. Facilities are great and the place looks good. Definitely a nice hostel to spend a few days at.

The dorms and some doubles are basic-others are nicer-but I kept extending my stay another night. The owners are so friendly and helpful, and I met great other travelers here too. As mentioned it can be a little loud, so either stay up with the noisy people or bring ear plugs. Breakfast is VERY basic. Kasha the dog is awesome.

We stayed 3 nights in this cozy small hostel. The setting is great, hot water works, ambience is nice and the kitchen is a bit dated but usable. We also warmed to the people staying there. The downside is that all walls are paper thin, floors creek mightily and sleeping/quiet hours are summarily ignored by guests and crew alike. Don't...

Moved here from another hostel and it was like arriving back at home. Fresh milk, home baked bread, nice rooms if somewhat basic and enthusiastic and friendly service, I didn't want to move on! The weather wasn't amazing during my stay but the owner organised activities himself to suit my tastes and participated in some of them. Overall one of...

I didn't warm to this place at first, but after booking an initial first night I decided to stay 2 extra nights. The place really grew on me, the people are friendly and the staff are helpful. It's walking distance to the "beach" which is beautiful. It's also got a supermarket nearby and not too far to walk to the...
