After spending a night in a popular but overpriced hostel, we spent three more at this very nice mid-range hotel (paying a lot less!). Everything was really good. Spacious room. Nice decor. Great king size bed. Bathroom with tub and good shower. Functioning central heating. Good breakfast. Good and safe private parking. The staff was attentive and helpful. They even...

The hotel is modern, the rooms are (perfectly) clean, really well located (in front of the lake). Not so expensive compare to the prices in the city. A nice place to stay for a couple of nights in order to enjoy your stay in Puerto Varas!

We stayed here for two nights, having arrived after the lake crossing from Bariloche. The only negative comment has nothing to do with the hotel, but with the lake crossing company. Despite the fact that the hotel is right on their travel route into Puerto Varas, they would not stop the bus there. Instead we had to get off downtown,...

The rooms are modern with a rustic wooden feel with designer slate effect tiled bathrooms. Huge comfy bed. Rooms have a view of trees, not the lake. There is fast WiFi in the rooms. Radiator, no air con. The inclusive buffet breakfast from 730 is good with juice, cereal, fresh fruit, toast, bread, ham cheese, yoghurt, pancakes and eggs. Free...

The hotel is clean, comfortable and offers a nice breakfast. It is not near the center of town, but it is a pleasant bike-ride away, and the hotel has one-speed beach bikes to lend. The rates are not inexpensive, but not expensive. A good, basic place.

We stayed for two nights and found the hotel to be just what we needed. Clean and modern and a short walk to the beach. No views of the lake or Osorno volcano but that was not a problem for us. We walked into town each night to eat or drink which was not a problem as the walk is...

While I only stayed on night, Hotel Puerto Chico generally met my expectations and was a good place to stay for a local business trip. Hotel is nicely decorated, and although rooms are small, the beds are very comfortable and everything is new. I do have two small complaints. The only fruit at breakfast was canned fruit cocktail and I...

Normally the weather is cold and wet in August. However, this day was beautiful and this small hotel was a pleasant surprise on the south end of Puerto Varas. The receptionist spoke english and was extremely helpful. The hotel features beautiful woods that have been repurposed to make beautiful decoration. The rooms were of modest size, but very clean and...

This new hotel (2011) has nicely decorated though tiny rooms with good beds, modern shower and bathroom. The only problem is that you can't fuly shade the rooms: sun rise will lighten your room .... not a problem for everybody but this could be easily fixed by the management with a blind. Very nice cosy lounge with lake and vulcano...
