Amazing location. The apartment is in the middle of the restaurant place of Lastaria. If you want to taste Chilean local cuisine in the old part of the city than this is the place to be. Clean, comfortable apartment and friendly staff.

A nice apartment in a great area. The apartment was clean and set up adequately for 3 adults. No air conditioning, not really missed, however a larger fan would have been appreciated. We lucked out with a room at the back so we were not disturbed as much by the restaurant noise, but ohh the dogs at 7:00 am were...

We stayed here for a few nights early December. The rooms are clean, with a generous kitchen and living space. The bathroom however is a little small but still manageable. The location of the apartment was great - right next to some good restaurants and a train station. It does get a little loud at night on the weekends because...

We were at the corridor waiting for more than half an hour for someone to give us the keys. There is no reception as such. The room is just ok, the door lock is tricky and the walls have marks all over. For the money they charge, I most definitely do not recommend.

My friend and I have been traveling in Chile for about three weeks and have a lot of experiences with excellent places to stay. Mela Blu is not in that category. It is extremely noisy as it is located near a lot of gathering places for eating and drinking. The locals start their night on the town around 9 pm...

Short walk to Santa Lucia - a beautiful garden park on a hilltop, museums, close to metro train stops in a neighborhood filled with great little restaurants. This was our first trip to Chile and our Spanish skills are limited. No worries. The manager was very helpful about how to find our way around. Wi-fi worked great, rooms were decent...

Don't trust the good reviews left by others. It is a terrible place to stay, although the price may look attractive. It had a strange smell, something like chlorine from the swimming pool. My wife had a bad headache when first check-in the room. It is extremely noisy!! The entrance of the apartment has to go through the restaurants and...

It is located in a incredible place. Nearby everything. Museums, nice bars and restaurants. Side by side subway station in front of PUC university. You can just wake to the Funicular, Neruda`s house, Bellas artes and providencia. The room is a small bijou. Well furnished, nice bed, with many cafes oustide. Very safe place. The wifi is not so good....

Stayed here for two nights. Very good and qualitative. This is a large apartment with a living room, kitchen, bedroom. Almost all new. Bed - very good sleep. At the site of numerous noise downstairs cafe. Not working wi-fi. Near grocery stores. Two steps to the main street and the subway. A taxi to the bus terminal - 2,500 pesos....

Pros: Very nice furnished apt. Bed and pillows were fantastic. Everything is new and modern in an IKEA sort of way. Cons: Wifi never worked. We spoke with the manager about this twice and both times she said she would talk to someone about it and be right back but she never returned. They seem to be aware of this...

“Sorry, we are not really qualified to recommend one apartment over another in this complex. However, one of our relatives stayed in Apartment #715 and felt that our apartment, #724, was better than #715. They saw our apartment several times but, unfortunately, we did not see theirs. Ours was a corner apartment on the 7th and last floor. We feel that the corner apartments are better than those in the middle of a row.”

“Definitely get a back side room. Call uncorked tours for a full day wine tour. Been to Napa and Sonoma and not of these compare. Wine tastes were like a full pour, the restaurant had 5 glasses on the table and they kept pouring....then another pour of reserve wine to walk through the vineyard. We thought $195 per person was high but believe me it ended up being the best buy possible. Very special and personal. Go for it you won't be sorry.”
