I was lucky enough to have an 8 bed dorm to myself & still meet lovely people at breakfast. It's in easy walking distance to everything I wanted to visit & had very kind & helpful staff. The hostel is clean & tidy. The only thing not great about the hostel is that the water for the shower was not...

The staff are very friendly and bilingual. The location is good, and close to some of the big attractions. The rooms were very well kept and tidy. I had an enjoyable time staying here and would highly recommend it.

We stayed in two different double rooms with shared bathrooms. The rooms themselves were fine and clean. The bathrooms were ok and clean but not well maintained so were looking a little worn. Breakfast is included, porridge and yogurt which is served to you, toast and fruit. So nothing to shout about but it's ok. Staff were really friendly and...

Off to a bad start when the airport transfer we had organised through the hostel failed to turn up, which wasn't ideal when we came through departures just before midnight. No answer at the hostel despite 24hr reception. When finally arriving at the hostel a bit after 1am via a private Taxi no apology was offer at reception. Breakfast was...

Thanks for your review. Indeed this visit happened during low season which is when we take time to renovate/maintain our facilities. That's why some bathrooms were unavailable at that time. We apologize for the pick up not working, unfortunately we can only book it for our guests and sometimes these companies fail with no explanation, that's why we are currently...

We spent 2 nights Santiago Backpackers, we stayed in a double room the was very large, comfortable bed. The room (No. 6) is very light due to the sky light which can be very bright first thing in the morning. The hostel had good communal areas like the TV room, kitchen and outdoor area and service from the staff was...

Santiago Backpackers is a great place to stay for many different reasons. First off, the location is prime. The hostel lies close enough to everything, but far enough so that you can still get a good night's sleep. The ambiance is cozy and clean, and the staff is absolutely amazing! Ari and team are very helpful, kind, and not to...

Arriving at Santiago Backbackers very very early in the morning, tired from a long airplane trip and frozen to the bone - I felt very revealed when the stuff of Santiago Backpackers welcomed me warmly, offering me the couch to lie down, some blankets to get warm and an early breakfast to revitalize. I can certainly say that the people...
