The front desk staff are very professional and helpful. They speak good english and helped us book tours and told us where we needed to go for the things we asked. The rooms are small but very clean. It is in walking distance to just about everything. Its very secure and safe. Definitely staying here again.

Stayed for one night in January and thought the hotel was a good value. Staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful. Lobby was clean and bright. Rooms were on the small side but I didn't feel cramped at all. Location was also good for a tourist. Easy to walk around and check out the nearby sites. Overall highly recommended.

The front desk staff were wonderful, ENTHUSIASTIC, and have excellent English and speedily answered all questions posed by email. They definitely added to our Santiago experience! The internet is good. Breakfasts are pleasant and have good variety. We also liked and used the balconies, and the very large common areas. Rooms are not soundproof, so you may have some noise...

This hotel revived a trip advisor award and needs to be taken off that list. It is a small hotel, with rooms that are barely big enough to accommodate two travelers and their suitcases. Ther are NO hangers, drawers or any storage. The bathrooms are old, grungy, without fans and counter space and absolutely horrible. We were initially assigned to...

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning after an overnight flight. We were warmly greeted and all our paperwork was sitting out ready to be completed. Best of all our room was ready for us even though we arrived before 10 am. We did book a car pick up, so they knew exactly when we were arriving (I...

I stayed at the hotel as part of an Intrepid Tour. The desk staff were notably friendly and helpful, spoke good English, and responsive to our requests. Our room on the 1st floor was basic but clean and (mostly) quiet. The breakfast was satisfying with a good variety of options. My only criticism was the sound and vibration coming from...

Stayed here with my wife just before Christmas. Well located near to the Bella Vista area (restaurants/bars) and the Plaza de Armas (metro/walking tours), the hotel is basic but clean and tidy and the rooms are fine as long as you are not expecting elegance. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable. But what made it great for us was the staff! The...

we stayed here at the end of our trip and I was really glad that we were only in the room one night. It was on the ground floor right down from the breakfast room and reception, so it was very noisy. it also had a window that looked right out on the garden so there was no privacy and...

Such a great location. Caught up on our sleep from our long flight from Australia. No noise at all in our room, slept for 12hours. Lovely breakfast. Staff on the desk speak good English, with all the other staff bending over backwards for us with anything we need eg ice, bottle opener, etc. Rooftop very nice to sit & have...

I have read guides saying that this hotel is not in a good area -- whatever that means. It is within easing walking distance of the Patronato garment district, the Patio Bellavista, and Pablo Neruda's house at La Chascona. Downtown Santiago is a 15-20 minute walk across the river. Breakfast and overall service were top-notch.

Thank Jim P
