We stayed there for three nights, fine rooms not big but acceptable, friendly and very helpfull staff, the breakfast was good and tasty, the lokalisation of the hotel is exellent with many small cosy streets nearby, and many good restaurants in walking distance, also lokated in the city center the hotel may need a renovation, but we had a fine...

Pleasant staff, with a little English. Room lovely size but so noisy. Spent one night on sofa because of next doors tv. Good bar. Adequate breakfast. Good area for sightseeing. Found there to be a shortage of restaurants in the immediate area except for fast food.

A nice and average hotel, located quite good in Santiago. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was also just renovated. The only point for improvement in our view would be the breakfast- the bread and the pastries could be fresher.

The staff at Hotel Fundador, especially those at reception are exceptionally welcoming. There's a great bar with good ambience and excellent snacks. The restaurant also serves good food. On the other hand the breakfast was poor, and many items ran out as the tour guests descended down in large groups.

I usually do not write reviews and as a matter of fact, I had to open a TripAdvisor account just because I wanted to do my due diligence and warn fellow travelers about this dump. My husband and I were forced to stay here for 2 nights as we traveled with a group tour. I want to start by saying...

The hotel is dated. Down a side street which I would not describe as nice. Staff as everywhere in Chile were friendly. Room was likewise dated although very large. Breakfast fair. Frankly the Plaza San Francisco where we also stayed on our trip is far nicer and in the same area although on the main boulevard.

This is a very busy hotel with many tour groups coming and going, regardless the front desk staff worked hard to meet individual needs. Mario was especially helpful in making sure we did not have to change rooms and remembered us personally when we returned 10 days later. A similar positive attitude was apparent in all the staff.

Liked a quiet cozy room which did not represent anything special but was perfect for a comfortable short stay. Standard double with a large bed may seem to be on the small side for two while just right for a single guest. Cleaned regularly, worth noting a pleasant smell. The building itself is not very new but beautiful, and there...

Two visits close together: 3 nights 11-13 Nov, 1 night 22 Nov. Very nice pair of buildings joined at 4th level by an enclosed airbridge. Atmospheric view rooftop gym/spa room in second of the two, across the airbridge. Airy, spacious and stylish public spaces, restaurant and separate breakfast room. Both my visits were situated in the main building. First visit...

A nice hotel located a few blocks away from imoprtant tourist sites and an artesan market. The hotel staff were more than accomodating when I forgot to bring my adaptor for my electrical items and lent me one that they keep for guests. They also sold tickets for the Hop on Hop off bus, which was an added bonus. Overall,...

Welcome to a new concept hotel with the best location in downtown Santiago, in the financial heart of the city.
