My daughter and I spent five nights here. The house is located in a safe neighborhood within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the Bellavista and Providencia neighborhoods. The bus and subway are a short walk from the house and Marilu was very helpful in providing maps and a BIP card to help us navigate public transport. Marilu speaks fluent...

My wife and I stayed at Marilu's on three separate occasions as part of a 6-week honeymoon travelling the whole of Chile. Marilu's was our first stop after 16 hours of flying from the UK and we arrived early in the city, at 09:30. Despite this, Marilu allowed us to rest on a sofa in the reception area whilst she...

MariLu is very willing to answer questions, and will go out of her way to find the answer if she does not know. Breakfast was good- avocado, cereal, bread, jams, cheese, meat, coffee, juice, cookies. Rooms were clean in this small hostel. Stayed here initially, went to southern Chile, and stayed again on our way north.

“Marilu has 5(?) rooms. I stayed in the two private rooms that opens to the back terrace, A3 and A4 - both were OK - A3 was better. (A4 doesn't have window). From what I saw of the others - the private one /double that has a window to the front street is the nicest and largest one.”
