My brother and I had an overnight stay after a flight to Santiago from London. The owner greeted us in a very friendly manner, let us view the room before paying and was extremely helpful with information throughout. The room was spacious and quiet, with breakfast varied and plentiful. It is in the perfect location for restaurants and bars, being...

This hotel has a very good location, near the subway, in front of the Cerro St. Lucia, a very nice green park. A few steps and you are in one of the best areas for good restaurants and bar. The area is very safe, quiet and friendly. Oh the rates are also very convenient. Next trip to Santiago I'll choose...

We were a couple and me on my own. Our rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The room for the couple had a small sitting area and other friends had an extra room. The hallways and landings are wide with pretty sitting areas on many. The included breakfast was good - both hot and cold. The location is really nice...

We stayed on the top floor of the hotel facing Cerro Santa Lucia. The hotel itself is cute and our room had 2 queen beds with tons of space!! The reviews scared me, but our stay was good overall. Our shower worked one time but did not work another time. Not sure why. But with a two night stay, it...

The room was quiet good. We are a family of five and stayed in room 66, which was very spacious with four beds and a baby cot. Cleaning was good and everyone was friendly. But it annoys me that they say they have Internet, which really isn't true - not in the room anyway. The signal was simply too bad...

The only appealing thing about this hotel is its location, which is fabulous. However, all other aspects of the place are completely unappealing. The rooms are dank and depressing and smelly. The masonry was crumbling in both rooms I stayed in---I asked to move because the first room was so ghastly---and the fixtures were from another era (the 1970's I...

The outside of the hotel was unappealing made worse by the strong smell of urine. The elevator to our section was antiquated and very small with only enough room for 1 person and their suitcase and carry-on. There may be nice rooms here but ours was not one of them. It was small with barely enough room for 2 people...

I stayed there one night in June 2015. A bit pricy but room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was hearty as it is a buffet. Well located, a few minutes walk from sta Lucia. A bit pricy though.

I stayed at the Montecarlo for one night on my way to the airport, I had enjoyed a fantastic 4 week trip through Patagonia and the lakes district with mainly terrific hotels. At the Montecarlo I arrived tired and carrying a backpack, the reception guy looked down his nose at me, as if the Montecarlo was something special and a...

This place is fine. I only stopped here for the day enroute to Bogota and I wanted somewhere to have a lie down, freshen up, etc. the location is superb. I walked everywhere, and there is a great selection of restaurants just around the corner. The downsides were the noise (very busy road), and the bathroom (like others have said)...
