You have to go with the local bus from bus station but the Hostel is relative easy to find where to leave the bus (There is only one Shell Station in the area). The Hostel is located in the neighborhood with a lot street art. A Supermarket (Unimarc) and Restaurant exists in the Metro Station. Local Markets (Fish, Fruits) in...

Nice hostel in a very good location. Breakfast was good and included eggs and bread, tea and coffee. WIFI is ok. Doesn't work in all areas. On the rooftop they have a nice terrace area. Rooms were ok. Not all the lockers for each bed worked. But I would recommend it.

I stayed there for a full week because of a spanish course. The hostel itself is very clean, spacious rooms with big lockers, very good breakfast with fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, bread and marmelade. Unfortunately just instant coffee but seems to be standard in Chile hostels. I slept in a 6 bed dormitory which was next to the kitchen and...

I stayed here for three nights and it was one of my favourite hostals on my trip around South America. It's a great location and has loads of art by a famous street artist on the walls. The communal area is lovely, the kitchen is well equipped and the breakfasts are great. There is also a roof terrace. The dorms...

The hostel is in a good location, is spacious and has a great rooftop terrace. What let's it down is that if people congregate in the common area which is right next to the majority of rooms, then you aren't going to get a decent nights sleep. The staff don't make an effort to tell people to be quiet, and...

Rooms at Hostal Po look really cool as they are all painted by artists. We had a private room which was big, but the blinds let in so much light and it was so noisy that it was hard to sleep. Breakfast is great, loved the table that encouraged everyone to be sociable. Wifi was fast and reliable. Staff were...

Great common space, cool art everywhere, very comfortable beds (so warm! down comforters!), super breakfast (eggs!), awesome roof deck, friendly staff, fun social vibe. Only small negative was the bathrooms (gross! need major repairs to showers!).

Great hostel in a perfect location, within walking distance of everything and only five minutes from the start of both walking tours. Good security, the door is always locked and there are massive lockers under the beds. The beds were the comfiest we'd slept in in all of South America - so good!!! The breakfast is included and is bread,...

First off, in order to get a good vibe of the city and to see everythig the city has to offer, I would suggest staying at least 2 days in Valparaiso. Moreover, this hostel had a great location- it was lower down (many many uphills and staircases in Valparaiso) and close to the plazas where most free walking tours started....
