Good location in quiet but safe neighbourhood. This a real boutique hotel with historical decoration and furniture. Lots of character. Yet they were comfortable. Breakfast good. Hot water was deficient but they will turn that up if requested And bring your own bath plug! Management were very helpful and that clinches the five stars for me

Spent two nights here on my way to the Galapagos. The room was very comfortable, the staff were welcoming and the breakfast substantial. After a long flight this is a comfortable place to hang your hat for a couple of days .....and get aclimatized

This hotel redefines the words chic and boutique! The staff is marvelous. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I felt very comfortable. One quirk was the lack of WiFi in my room. However it was no problem in the common areas which are a delight! I definitely recommend this property in Quito.

I stayed here for two nights at the start of a horseback ride and one night at the end. The hotel is beautiful, intimate and very homey. The staff were superb, extremely friendly and willing to help in any way possible. I would love to travel here again just to visit this lovely hotel.

My husband and I stayed in Casa Aliso for two nights before our Galápagos vacation: the friendly staff and beautiful inn were difficult to leave! While the hotel itself is so colorful and charming--seems like a lovely home, which it was from the 1930s--the staff are what made our time there so perfect. From the manager and registration clerk to...

It is clear why Hotel Aliso has such a high rating, it is small scale but with wonderful staff. They were ready to help at any hour of the day and all spoke excellent English. I left my laptop at the airport prior to arriving in Quito but the manager helped track it down and arrange a drop-off at the...

I stayed here for two separate nights as stopovers in a tailor-made wildlife holiday last year. I wish I had had more time to relax in the tranquil atmosphere of the Casa Aliso but unfortunately (although it was my schedule!) I was being collected early in the morning on both stays. The public areas of the hotel were beautifully furnished...

We loved this place. It is small (10 rooms) and in a very good location, close to main streets and to many restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had to leave for the airport at 3 am and when we got up at 2:30 am breakfast and coffee was set up waiting for us. The hotel is interesting...

This is an ok B&B; room a nice size, interesting building (was a doctors house), breakfast was good (e.g. freshly made eggs; style of your choice). However, there were several aspects of our stay that were disappointing. Somehow the place did not match up to the photos on the website; the whole place seemed darker and duller, the garden was...

Lovely remodeled home with comfortable rooms. Staff members went out of their way to be helpful in restaurant suggestions, luggage storage, food preparation, and transportation assistance. Great restaurants are located within walking distance.
