This place is friendly, clean, quite, comfortable, and ever so welcoming! Jenny, the owner, is so kind, who will make you feel welcomed and helpful with what to visit in Quito. My favorite is their breakfasts with its great coffee and spirited conversations.

This hotel is not like most of what you have probably seen in vacations. It is actually a home with half of it converted into an hotel bed & breakfast. When you enter you see a well decorated living room and dining room for the guests. Then you can chose from around 6 rooms which are almost all the same... More

My wife and me loved La Casa Amarilla. Jenny treated us like she knew us lifetime. She was so kind and she even gave us a ride in our first day in Quito. La Casa Amarilla has nice common areas where you can meet people from all around the world while you are having breakfast or drinking some coffe.

I stayed there for a few nights on my way to Cuenca. I received excellent advice from the hosts about travel in Bolivia as well as other nearby countries. Great atmosphere, very clean, and quiet. Very, very comfortable.

Granted the house is quaint with nice decorations, but we thought it was a little too pricey for the location and decent breakfast. The portion was a little tiny for us. Wifi was mediocre speed. We also arranged a pickup, which costs $45, but we later found out that we could have easily gotten a taxi at the airport for... More

Jenny is a charming hostess who so kindly shares her cute, arty house with the rest of us visitors; she made our stay a delight. Her recommendations for places to visit were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and we felt as if we were staying with a friend. The communal sitting room and breakfast area were cosy and... Jenny and David are amongst the nicest people I've met. They made me feel so welcome, were so helpful and you did feel as if it was more like you were a guest than a customer. La casa is a lovely arty home that's been converted to a bnb. It's unique and had much more soul in it than a... More

We stayed in Ecuador for nearly two weeks, and La Casa Amarilla was our "home base." The owner, Jenny, is exceptionally sweet, helpful and friendly. It really is your home away from home! We went all over the country and kept coming back to Quito and Jenny's home as a way to touch base and get our bearings. She knows... More

We chose La Casa Amarilla as our first place to stay while in Ecuador, a very quaint home like atmosphere from which we could begin our journey enjoying the many sites and scenes of Quito. Upon arriving at the airport in Quito after a long day of flights, our ride from La Casa Amarilla (Steven) was waiting for us and... More
