First, I need to say that Maria Salem, (Sales & Marketing) is excellent. I exchanged a number of e-mails with her before staying at the hotel and every one of them was answered quickly and perfectly. During our first breakfast at La Casona, Maria was in the restaurant greeting guests and asking if anyone needed any help. That morning, I...

The hotel is lovely and the overall ambiance is quite cozy. Loved the decor with all the hand-painting on the walls and the flower pots everywhere! Service could be better. DO NOT use the dry clean or laundry services! My pants were not cleaned at all. They just folded them back!! Breakfast is not wow.

We stayed at La Casona de la Ronda while going to our Galapagos cruise and on our return to Quito on our way home. The hotel is in a great location near the heart of old Quito. It is right on La Ronda, a favorite walking and visiting street in the evenings in old Quito. The rooms are large with...

We arrived from the Machu Picchu leg of our vacation and stayed here for one night before traveling to the Galápagos Islands. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful comfortable room. We enjoyed the tea and cookies in the guest lounge, sitting on oversized comfy couches leafing through their magazines on the Galápagos. Dinner in the restaurant was really good. The potato...

This beautiful casona (big house) once contained 50 rooms and was built in 1738 by a wealthy Spaniard. It has been lovingly restored and updated by its current owners. Maria is around every day to talk to the guests and learn from them as well as giving advice on places of interest and history. The service is impeccable, from the...
