This nearly-300-year-old former home wrapped around a 4-story atrium is a gem of history in the historic preservation area of sprawling, honking Quito. Service is really great: staff is anxious to make you happy. The tiny dining room has a fullsome breakfast buffet 6-10 a.m. And lunch and dinner are available seemingly all day. At 9200 ft elevation you pant...

If you're looking for charm, convenience, safety and a warm welcome, La Casona de la Ronda is the hotel for you! We visited in February and were thrilled with the accommodations. It's a perfect location -- in the heart of Quito's old city -- and we walked everywhere in the downtown area. The hotel itself, re-created from a beautiful old...

We enjoyed our stay at La Casona. Being greeted with a fresh ice tea at check in was a nice touch. During our stay the service warm and accommodating. I booked this hotel online and had to send 3 different emails to get a response to book a taxi pickup from the airport. When I tried to call, the phone...

We just recently completed a stay at La Casona la Ronda Hotel in the historical Old Town part of Quito. We used the hotel as our main base while traveling in Ecuador over three weeks. What a fantastic place. Firstly, the location is right within the Old Town. We spent many hours exploring around this part of Quito, and also...

Lovely hotel in the middle of a pedestrian area with shopping and restaurants. Staff was super friendly and helpful - seriously, everyone we talked to! Great breakfast and ate at their restaurant for dinner as well, which was very good. Had to leave at 4am to get to the airport and they packed a boxed breakfast for us, which was...

We stayed at La Casona de la Ronda in January of this year for two nights. It had a great location in the historic center. It is located in a bohemian part of the historic center and was very active on Friday and Saturday night which was fun to walk around. What I really loved about it was that it...

The modest exterior hides a beatiful hotel. Both the general areas and the rooms have very nice design. The rooms are comfortable and quiet with all the amenities you can ask for.
