Despite the traditional frontage, this is a very contemporary design of hotel. We stayed on the top floor which also has a large lounge area which incorporates a sofa and a small kitchen area including a kettle for tea; this is shared with one other room giving you teriffic views of the city. The room itself was very spacious, bed...

If you are looking for a unique boutique hotel in the heart of the city, look no further. This hotel provided airport pick up in addition to a great place to spend a night on our way to the Galapagos. We loved the views, breakfast with made to order eggs, and the helpful dinner suggestions.

Very modern, cool decor, great value -- would highly recommend this place for people looking to stay in the middle of the historic district. The location is phenomenal. The rooms are small (no closets) but very clean and nice. The staff was attentive, bilingual and super helpful. We enjoyed the included breakfast, especially because you get to sit in front...

Service was great and it's right in the middle of old town where you can walk to everything. It's really close to Basílica. Bring some good walking shoes, you will be walking up and down a lot of hills in old town. lots of really nice churches to see.

Great location in the historic part of Quito. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Make sure to use ear plugs, as the noise level is very high. We stayed in the top floor and the noise level was a bit of a nuisance after 5 am. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and had a nice view from the terrace.

Very welcoming and friendly bilingual staff. Clean, modern rooms. Very close to many historic sites. Great city views from common room and breakfast dining area. A laundry is conveniently located across the street. Near hop-on/hop-off tourist bus line. Great location from which to explore historic old town Quito!

We were in a room on the top floor - a bit of a climb, but well worth the effort. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is nicely located on the edge of the old city, and close to the Basilica and an easy walk to the main city bus lines. The staff and owners are great and...

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Gardenia. We stayed in room 8. It was very spacious and clean. There is a large terrace on the third floor where room 8 is located - it provided beautiful views of the city. There is only one other room on the third floor, so it was almost like having your own terrace....
