Lovely, homely hotel in the heart of Quito. Staff make you feel at home and the food was excellent during our stay. Wifi was superb in both rooms and public areas.
Definitely an affordable gem that all travellers experiencing Ecuador should stay at

Hi Steve, sorry if this is too late but I don't check tripadvisor regularly. It takes about 45 minutes from the airport to the hotel, maybe a little more in rush hour. We had transfers so I'm afraid I don't know the price. The safest way is as with the rest of the city to take an official cab with all the badges. That said, we used an unbadged taxi for another trip once and it was fine and in general we found the city safe - did quite a bit of walking at night to and from restaurants and bars. There were a few streets that looked dodgy but use commonsense and you should be fine.
