We loved the views and antique furniture in our matrimonial suite. The courtyard is beautiful and the building has so much history. The hotel arranged transport and some pizza for our late night arrival and was easy to arrange taxis to other locations in Quito. It is walking distance to Old town attractions and easy to find places to eat....

We had room #8 , which is large and comfortable with a view of the street in front of the hotel. Some reviews complained about breakfast, but fruit, eggs, bread, coffee and juice are a typical included breakfast in many countries. We found it to be more than adequate and a nice addition for the price of the room. The folks at...

i stayed here as part of an intrepid tour. the hotel is amazingly understated, it's half garden, half hotel. rooms were big and bathrooms were good. breakfast was good (coffee, fruit, bread, eggs) if this seems like not a big breakfast you should know that it's an above average offering compared to other places were stayed. I'd definitely book this...

We had a massive double room with good size bathroom. Very comfortable. Breakfast was good, especially the coffee. Really nice courtyard in centre of the building which was a great place to hang out. Really fantastic location as well. Excellent!

Great location, friendly, helpful staff..It is not a 4/5 star hotel, but the accommodations are nice. The breakfast was nice, and the staff was willing to help our large group with all of our questions and needs during our stay.

I would stay here again as it is very convenient to everything and though someone commented on the fact there is not a large breakfast I wouldn't complain because there are incredible bakeries near by with some of the best croissants you will taste for only 30 cents. This will be my place to stay while in Quito in the...

Did I say location? Yes, a short two block walk to the Plaza Grande gets you to the SF Hotel. It's a relatively cheap hotel that is well located. We spent nine nights there and know it well. Here are its benefits: 1. LOCATION - near everything in old town 2. CHARM - yes it has a nice courtyard and...

Dear Guest, Thanks for your comments. Sorry about toilet paper in the toilet, but this is something we (in all country) are trying to do to help the environment. At breakfast we serve artisan bread, generally most of our guests like it, we are sorry you didn't, we are going to put more attention to bread. Thanks for all your...

We (family of four with two teenage kids) stayed here for two nights. We had two rooms and there was more than enough space - though the room with twin beds was bigger than the one with a double bed. Bathrooms were modern and clean. We had a problem on first morning with getting hot water but we asked at...

Stayed here with my Dad en route to the Galapagos Islands. Beautiful courtyard, full of plants and flowers. Rooms have adorable, creaky old wooden floors, thin walls, and oldish, but comfortable beds with lots of blankets. Basic breakfast included. Staff was helpful and friendly.
