It's a very old building with nice and cosy rooms. Good friendly staff. Breakfast is a bit to simple. Just one piece of fruit and a egg prepared by choice. And sticky bread. Location is right in the historic old town in between the Hotspots. Good place to stay

Dear guest, Thanks a lot for your comment. We are happy to know you liked our Hotel, which is one of the 5 oldest houses in Quito, a real colonial house, that we tried to kept it as original. Kind regards,

If you're looking to stay in the heart of the old city/Colonial Quito, this hotel has a great, central location. The garden area/lobby is very quaint. We stayed in a triple room with my 5 yo daughter and my best friend. The pictures online of the spacious triple room were deceiving. Ours was much smaller and cramped, with no windows....

Dear Guest, Thanks for your comments. Since our house is one of the 5 oldest in Quito, it's not possible to have all the rooms with windows to the street, so what we have it's some rooms with internal windows, toward our patios. that's the case of your room, sorry you didn't like it, when we have availability we can...

We stayed for two nights at the San Francisco hotel. Although the location is perfect, in the centre of the city, the rest is quite mediocre for the price. The rooms do not have Windows, are very noisy and are quite old. The bathroom is ok but the pressure of the shower is not sufficient. The breakfast is very bad...

Management response:

Dear Guest, Thanks for your comments, we really appreciated them and take them into account to improve! Some of the rooms don't have windows to the street only inside windows, that's because this house is a colonial house, in that time people didn't really like to show themselves, so we don't have too many windows or balconies to the outside,...

The hotel service was excellent. Loved the room and the furniture. Very clean and well placed. The receptionist was very welcoming. Great location. Overall it was an amazing experience. Totally recommend the hotel and we would definitely stay in it if we visit the area again.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this place. Colonial style with special charm. Great location close to many of the sights you don't want to miss. Staff was very helpful in guiding us to the obvious and to some hidden highlights. Communication was easy and value for money was good. Don't miss the breakfast, well worth it!

The best part of this hotel is the location. It's centered in the historic center. It's not the cheapest for what you get, but the location is excellent. I arrived late at night, which wasn't a problem; but there was supposed to be a letter for me at the front desk with instructions on what was going to happen the...

Dear Guest, Thanks for your comment, we really appreciate it. About the window in the hall way, problem is solved now, thanks to your comment we put curtains in that window to avoid the light. About neighbor's music, we just sent a letter to him to ask to keep it down. Kind regards,

Arrived at 11 pm from the US for two nights before heading down to the Amazon basin. Big gate on the front, which all the shops and hotels have in this area. As you enter the foyer into the courtyard, you realize that this is something special, architecture is very colonial and the building is old. English can be a...

This is not a 4 star hotel but it is well located, has a nice patio and plenty of rooms. Our rooms were clean and all functioned well but it is certainly a bit old. Also wifi is slow and does not reach all rooms. Don't forget to go to the top and look over Quito. Breakfast is indeed rather...

Dear Guest, Thanks for your comments. We are a 3 star Hotel located in one of the oldest houses in Quito which was kept as original, since the walls are more than 1 meter wide we don't guarantee WiFi in all rooms, but we do guarantee WiFi in all our social areas. We really appreciated your comments!

Great location and beautiful old building. Good old town location and value for money . However, very noisy and problems with too much light at night. V ery basic breakfast. Very clean and safe though.

Dear guest, Thanks for your comments, it really helps us to improve our service. In action to your comment, we put curtains in some windows to avoid the light you mentioned and also we hired a company who is putting next week anti noise doors and windows to avoid street noise. Thanks again!

My son and I spent a night in quito and wanted a centrally located, charming and safe hotel. We got just that! It's located a block away from some of the nicest churches and museums in the old town. Also, a very convenient super market right next door for water and snacks. The courtyard is lovely and welcoming. Very cozy,...
