My wife and I recently completed an 11 night stay at Casa Ordonez. The house has been beautifully restored to its historic brillance. Each of the rooms is named for one of Alberto's family members. Everything is made of beautiful wood, the doors on the rooms are particularly charming with their skeleton key locks. Alberto and his staff make every...

Our family (including 2 teenagers and an 8 year old) stayed at Casa Ordonez for 16 days. We clearly fell in love with the staff, or family as we call them now! The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I appreciated the authenticity of the decorations and the space. Breakfasts were beyond delicious with fresh fruit juice, yogurt with fresh fruit, a...

The people here are amazing. When we arrived here the first morning, the entire staff greeted us as if we were family, and it just got better from there! The breakfast is amazing. The owner cooks it all himself and he also makes a different fresh juice every morning. My favorite part is the amazing yogurt! The building was completely...

This property was once the private home of the Ordonez family. Twelve years ago, after a 13 month renovation, it was converted to a hostal. Here in Ecuador, properties with 12 or less rooms are considered "hostals." More than 12 rooms the property is considered a hotel. So, the kids that used to sleep here, now run the place! Alberto,...

After spending one noisy sleepless night in another part of town we found Casa Ordonez. We are so very pleased that we did. This lovely historic B&B is very quiet, with comfy cozy bedrooms, with a great breakfast. We were able to walk a few blocks to the central square where there are cafes and restaurants, beautiful churches, and friendly...

Stayed here for 5 nights and I highly recommend it! The building is stunning and in a perfect location. The bedroom was wonderful with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh juice, toast, coffee and a choice of omelette, scrambled egg or French toast. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Thank Maria W
