Last minute walk in at 8.30pm, as had booked at a hostel up the road which turned out to be a disaster. Nice family run hostal, with a lovely family. They showed me the room, which was a good size, had good internet and was quiet. And waited for me to go get a refund from the other hostal and... More

We had occasion to stay here for two nights. The casa is the old family home, is quite clean, comfortable, surprisingly quiet and the family staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. A complete breakfast is included with a view overlooking the Rio Tomabamba There are many restaurants and historic attractions within a short walking distance and if need be, urban... More

If you are not looking for luxury, this is the best option in town. Excellent location, surrounded by great restaurants, museum and a lovely walk way by the river. great view of the river down below and surrounding mountains and great hosts. The price is very accessible too. Highly recommended

The accommodation was homely and well stocked. The owners were friendly and helpful, who took an interest in their guests. It's a good place to stay, offers a nice view of the Tomebamba river from the terrace.

They are remodeling some of the areas but my river-front room was very clean and comfortable. It is an inexpensive option for staying in the historic center with a good view and close to all you need. Breakfast is included and typically satisfying. Good hot water and water pressure. Good bed and sheets.

Stayed here for 3 nights. First night stayed in a room facing the lobby. The room itself was great, had a nice bed, was decorated nicely and had character. Sound insulation was terrible though. Fortunately, the place is managed in a way that limits disturbances after hours. Got a good night sleep. Next 2 nights I stayed in one of... More

Fantastic location in old section of Cuenca overlooking a babbling river. Room was nice and included breakfast was great. The matriarch of the hotel speaks no English but both her kids eagerly do. Price is decent for all you get.

We stayed here twice in February, once for 4 nights and then for 1. The service and attention we received from the staff was exceptional, with travel info, and with extra-early-morning breakfasts (when we had unusually early connections to make.) During our 2 stays, we stayed in 2 different rooms, 1 with a river view & 1 without; both rooms... More
