This is the third time I have stayed at the Casona. The owners are a lovely family, very accomodating and kind. Rooms are light and spacious, breakfast is abundant and the waitstaff is eager to help. It is the best option in Cuenca!

Stayed here 2 nights as part of a longer tour. Had a room at the 3rd floor, which was small, but featured a comfortable bed and had a tv in it (spanish channels only). The level of noise was okay, but as others wrote the walls are rather thin. Everything was clean, breakfast was decent and staff was helpfull and...

This was the biggest disappointment in my trip, after seeing the reviews and photos expectations were raised but it was one of the worst hotels we stayed in especially considering the price. Rooms are old and remind me of a "Bed and Breakfast" - with creaky corridors. Bathtubs were old without plug holes. Walls were thin so you are at...

The hotel was a close walk into town, our room was clean and spacious with very very comfortable bed! It was just a shame the wifi didn't work in the room, but there are couches to sit down and use WiFi. We thought $6USD as a bit expensive for breakfast, but plenty of excellent places within walking distance :) I...

We stayed here for 2 nights and although about a 15 minute walk to the centre the taxi's are cheap. The wifi was very good through the hotel and our bathroom and shower were a delight. I would stay again if back in Cuenca. The staff were friendly and with a buzz in gate it felt very safe and secure!

I visited Cuenca for the first time in March and stayed at La Casona for five nights. My single room wasn't so big but was enough and cozy space for myself. The bedroom was very clean and organized and so was the bathroom. The owners and staffs at this family-owned hotel were all so friendly and kind. Whenever I had...

This place is nice, but a little bit far from the main tourist centre. It's quite an easy walk though. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of space and the reception staff were pleasant. I would stay here again. I didn't try the restaurant here as there are definitely cheaper options in town.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights as part of a tour. Read the reviews and was expecting better. Maybe I was given the smallest/worst room as a solo traveller. Room 104 is in a corridor directly behind reception and also very close to the street. The traffic does quieten down late at night but expect to be awake by...

I stayed here with my wife as she was participating in a local contemporary music festival. The service was good with fresh bottled water provided every day as well as one available in the dining area where we could refill water at any time. They offer a basic breakfast. Lunch and dinner were also available upon request and were typical...
