Stayed in this hotel for two nights as part of a tour. Read the reviews and was expecting better. Maybe I was given the smallest/worst room as a solo traveller. Room 104 is in a corridor directly behind reception and also very close to the street. The traffic does quieten down late at night but expect to be awake by...

I stayed here with my wife as she was participating in a local contemporary music festival. The service was good with fresh bottled water provided every day as well as one available in the dining area where we could refill water at any time. They offer a basic breakfast. Lunch and dinner were also available upon request and were typical...

Nothing to shout home about if I'm honest. The rooms are clean and its reasonably quiet. About 20 minute walk in the old town ( depending on how you are with a huge amount of steps _ I felt totally unfit afterwards). Breakfast was not good. You have bread but can make toast. There was scrambled eggs like you get...

This family-run hotel is ideal if you're looking for comfort and relaxation or traveling with children. Beautiful, sunny rooms with very comfortable beds. Friendly staff and great service, and only a short walk away from the city center. I can highly recommend it!

I was pleased greatly with my experience at La Casona. It is a small hotel run out of a refurbished mansion, and the boutique nature is reflected in the tasteful and modern rooms. La Casona is run by a wonderful family who went out of their way to make sure my experience was top-notch. It was a short walk or...

This is a beautiful building, loving restored, and including its own restaurant and roof top gardens. The rooms were comfortable and wifi was free. It has an interesting history and some of the early artefacts are on display. The hotel is well located for local markets.

La Casona is a sweet boutique hotel. It is tastefully decorated in an old house and close to good shopping, government buildings and a beautiful neighborhood. It has its own restaurant with great food, and room service was prompt. In my single room, the bed was comfortable, and the room beautifully appointed and clean. The bath was decorated in granite...

I really enjoyed staying here. The location is good. It's near to a supermarket and shopping centre. Its a nice quiet area which I never felt unsafe in. It's a 15 minute walk to the old town. The hotel is lovely. The room was very clean. There's a gate at the main entrance for security. The staff are very friendly...

We stayed at La Casona while we were visiting family. The location is convenient to the town center and the riverfront, where I love to walk. The property is an enormous old house from back when the neighborhood was mostly residential, a time I remember. We had the breakfast every morning. It was the usual, delicious Cuenca breakfast of freshly...

Although we stayed at various hotels when we first moved to Cuenca, we were happy to find a lovely hotel in our favorite neighborhood for regular visits after moving into the country. The hotel is a big, beautiful, "estate" like manor with a restaurant that seems like the old library. Staying here is as comfortable as it sounds. The rooms...
