Only a couple of blocks from the Plaza. Our first time at a hostal and would stay again. This is a very laid back place so it's great if you are too. Owners were helpful with restaurant recommendations and shopping tips. We lived meeting new people a d getting to know the kids.

On our first day we arrived at the hostel and stood outside ringing the bell for 20 minutes.... no answer. We walked around the town for a bit with our rucksacks and went back an hour later and managed to get in this time. We were hoping to meet other travellers but for the 3 nights we stayed we were...

Scandinavia hostal is an excellent stay in Arequipa with centro location which is easily access to centre and sight seeing places around. The owner, jehssely is an excellent person who is always helps you around. She is friendly and always smile. Our first impression was that the place needed some TLC. Our room had a ceiling that was badly peeling and the bed mattress was rather lumpy. But the room was large and clean and there was plenty of hot water. The downside was the lack of plugs in the room. You can either watch tv, or charge your phone, but...

Around last Christmas my friend and me spent five days and nights in this hostal and it was amazing... We felt like home. Jessy, Joshelm and Luis are very warm and welcoming people. We made barbeques on the wonderful roofterrace, and had very interesting and inspiring conversations. They made us feel like home and we were so sad to leave....

This is a hostel with a difference. You simply go in to check for space as you do when backpacking but come out knowing you have a friend for life. Jessy was so accommodating, from the minute we walked in. I just couldn´t stop conversing with her about anything under the sun and we became best of friends in a...

The owners of this Hostel, Jehssely Torres and her partner, are very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. There is a nice lounge, with free internet access, and a lovely roof-top terrace offering a view of the city and mountains. The room I was in was quite basic (with a low price to match.) It was clean and comfortable, if not fancy....

We stayed in the dorm room for one night and booked the overprized tour to the colca canyon at the hostel. The room was dark and loud and only had one plug, the bathroom very small and with a broken door. When we booked the tour to colca, we were given a lot of wrong information, and so we woke...
