My partner and I spent 3 nights at Azul Colonial and the hotel was fantastic. It is tastefully decorated with a lovely sun-drenched courtyard and the room was incredibly clean with a lovely big shower. For the price we paid, we did not expect to have such a standard. In addition, and most importantly, the staff were so welcoming and... More

This is a beautiful hotel above the tranquil plaza of Yanahuara. The water was hot, the internet was mostly working (although a little dodgy in our room), and the furniture and decor was excellent. However, the hotel was super confusing about check-out times and breakfast policies. One place said breakfast was 4USD, which for a bread, bad coffee, and not-fresh... More

The hotel is very modern and furnished well but poorly managed. The Wifi did not work for the entire 12 hours of our stay. First time we complained on the Wifi they played dumb stating it worked and it was a login issue. After calling them out they later changed the story that it was an outage. Hotel also charges... Lovely place with beautiful and peaceful courtyard to lounge about in. Lots of quirky decorating touches. Beds very comfortable. Not in central Arequipa but taxi is only about $2 and the neighborhood feels very safe. Open top tourist buses depart from just down the road. Excellent wifi too.

The location is perfect near to Yanahuara plaza. Is like a quiet small village when you walk in the streets around.Only 15 minutes walk to Plaza De Armas. The hotel is really cute, clean, with beautiful decoration, the owners and the staff VERY friendly. It's a perfect choice if you like small, family hotels.

The staff needs to be more professional and to have more autonomy . When I did my checkout they wanted to charge me 5% if i paid with credit card which is not allowed by law. Also, the customer after me had problems with the payment ... something about soles and dollars . Both of us left with a feeling... More

This place is a true oasis within the otherwise so busy Arequipa. The garden is a beautiful place for relaxig after a long hike and the rooms are cosy with a tasteful interior. As with so many other hotels in Peru, one can hear evertyhing going on outside. Bring ear plugs and you'll be just fine!

My wife and I stayed two days here at Mid September for our honeymoon vacation. We both love it and hope to come back in the future. These are the pros and cons of this great place in my opinion. Pros: 1. Nice and warm hotel owner. They are willing to help you if any necessary. 2. A quite and... More

Definitely recommend! The hotel is charming itself and well maintained. Doing nothing and just relax in the hotel is a lovely experience. Besides, we enjoyed the breakfast there a lot. Though it's not located in the Arequipa center, the surrounding is more quiet, safe, and clean, and takes you only 6 sol by taxi or 20 minutes by walk ;... More
