We would have stayed longer if we could as Arequipa is a great city and the suite that we had in the old part of the hotel was everything that you could want. The only criticism is, as at all Casa Andina hotels, they charge 10 soles for bottled drinking water, this should be complementary.

Loved this hotel and Arequipa. The lobby is wonderful as are all the public areas. Great to have breakfast sat in the old court yard> we were lucky to be upgraded to a huge suite in the colonial part of the hotel (room 4.) We wished we had stayed for two nights. Arequipa as it is an interesting city to... More

The hotel lobby was a chapel built in the 15th Century - breathtaking! The room was nice but I expected more based on the reception area and lobby. The restaurant was awesome an our meals were superior!

This hotel is based in an old building with a couple of lovely central courtyards - one covered and the other open. It is extended with a modern building at the rear, which is common in Peru. We stayed in a room on the third floor in the modern part and the room was well equipped and comfortable. The location... More

This was my third time in CA Private Collection, and I´m sure it will not be the last one. The hotel is beautiful, it used to be a Palace. High ceilings, friendly staff and beautiful lobby. Rooms in the newer section are somewhat more plain, whilst the suite and junior suite that overlook the patio are the best.

Well located in an old and very interesting building that has been extended to include a modern wing. We were given an very good room in the old part that was more than satisfactory, with a sitting room, two balconies, good sized bedroom and large bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. Although the decoration and the numerous religious paintings on the... More

This was our final stop of a seventeen day visit to Peru. It proved a terrific end. The hotel is as described, a living museum. With high ceilings and courtyards from its past and the hotel itself brought up to modern standards it was excellent accommodation at the end of a long trip. The room itself was spacious with a... From the moment we walked in to the hotel we were greeted warmly and courteously. The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. The hotel is steeped in history yet offers modern luxury and is conveniently located.

The Casina Andina Private Collection provided us tranquility after sightseeing in Arequipa, with casual places to relax in the lobby, the bar, or the restaurant. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff made our stay a memorable one.
