We are travelling around South America as a late twenties/early thirties couple and we stayed in Pariwana Hostel in an 8 bed dorm for one night. Pariwana is an enormous hostel in the centre of Cusco city. It has a bar, large courtyard with table tennis table, computer room and so if you're looking for a party hostel look no...

The rooms are really clean and peaceful away from the bars. Location is equally great. The common area is a great place to meet people from all over the world and the parties are great too. The building is charming and is great fun to stay around in the courtyard soaking the mid-day sun. The overall facilities in the hostel...

The coolest hostel I ever stayed in. It exceeded my expectations. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. We were able to leave our big backpacks while we traveled around Peru. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The food was delicious and every night there was something fun happening and it was easy to meet people.

We slept at the Pariwana for 2 nights. It's a big hostel which might be a problem if you want to meet and greet. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean. It'a a bit expensive compared to other hostels in Cusco (around 30 soles a night for a 10-12 beds bedroom). The kitchen is nice and the dining room too. If...

This Hostel is really well located in the city centre with walking distance from everything. The building is really charming, with a good restaurant-bar and internet access. The staff is really cool particularly Danny who works at the entrance. If you have a question, need directions or suggestions, he is the go to guy. The beds are really comfortable.

You actually don't have to leave this hostel to have a great time. I was a bit reluctant to stay at a party hostel, but you couldn't hear noise from their bar even in the nearby rooms. The beds are SO comfortable- I wanted to steal the comforter (but I didn't ;) ) Really tasty food in the restaurant and...

I stayed six nights at the Pariwana Hostel in Cusco. Not only the people I met but also the super friendly staff (most of them speak English very well) made my time at the Pariwana Hostel memorable. It offers everything a traveler or tourist is looking for. Rooms: Very clean, big lockers with plug to charge your devices, suite, private...

We spent a week in a private room here, they were bight and clean and towels came as a plus. Staff were constantly cleaning communal bathrooms & asking if we wanted our room cleaned. Room was off the main courtyard and we never had a problem with noise. With the exception of the staff at reception, staff were friendly -...

Good location, in couple blocks from the main square. There is coca tea for 24 hours. Helps a lot when you've just arrived to Cusco. The beds and rooms are not quite new, but linen and mattresses are ok. There are no heating, but the have really good and warm blankets. There are bunch of activities for everyday. Friendly stuff,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Pariwana Hostel Cusco lies in a colonial house built in the 16th century. The beauty of our hostel can be compared to any 5-star hotel in the city of Cusco, but with the atmosphere and vibe of our guests and the Pariwana experience. The house has an internal patio surrounded by stone archways in both the first floor and in the balconies of the second floor. Our restaurant and bar-lounge are located in the same salons where Viceroys used to dine with the local nobility. It is said that there is a secret passage between the house and the closest convent. Supposedly, it was built by the last Viceroy, Abascal, as he new his days were counted. Pariwana Cusco is located in the heart of Cuzco’s Historical District: only 2 blocks away from the main plaza (Plaza de Armas). The hostel is surrounded by the typical Cuzco architecture and scenery. It is nearby several restaurants, drugstores and transportation facilities. ... more   less
