This hostel is right near the main plaza in Cuzco, which is awesome! The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, albeit a bit noisy at night. The shared bathrooms were a bit messy at times, and hot water for showers wasn't consistent. Wifi in the rooms worked well. Overall, pretty good and would definitely stay there again.

After a not so pleasant stay at Pirwa hostel we were so happy to come here. It has a very similar vibe to the Pariwana hostel in Lima! Staff are friendly! Always trying to engage the guests into fun activities (beer pong, kareoke, yoga). Beds and rooms are very comfortable! Nice to have big lockers in every room to lock...

Hostel is in perfect location in Cusco. Staff is fantastic, bedrooms and showers were great. They hold the night events in the bar so it's not loud for those that want to sleep. Common areas are big enough for everyone and people that smoke in those areas aren't too bothersome as the space airs out well. We really enjoyed our...

Booked into this hostel after a nightmare at another hostel in Cusco (Iguana Hostel). Massive difference! This hostel has a friendly and happening vibe with a courtyard which has a table tennis table and foosball table. The hostel also has a good kitchen, bar, Internet room and tv room. Showers were good and beds comfortable. Excellent place to stay in...

As soon as you step foot in you know you chose the right place. Beautiful courtyard and always something going on be it a staff games or karaoke night. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cheap stay in one of the best locations in cusco.

My stay at the Pariwana Hostel was wonderful. It's a great place to meet other young travelers. We became very friendly with a group of German travelers that we ended up doing tours/dinner/drinks/etc. with. The staff was great and extremely helpful. The layout was great also. The inner courtyard was a great relax and catch some sun. Very fairly priced...

I've recently visited Cusco and had a 4 night stay at this hostel. I've had a private room that was clean and relatively quiet. This hostel has a great restaurant that serves free breakfast and is very clean. Highly recommended!!

We are travelling around South America as a late twenties/early thirties couple and we stayed in Pariwana Hostel in an 8 bed dorm for one night. Pariwana is an enormous hostel in the centre of Cusco city. It has a bar, large courtyard with table tennis table, computer room and so if you're looking for a party hostel look no...

The rooms are really clean and peaceful away from the bars. Location is equally great. The common area is a great place to meet people from all over the world and the parties are great too. The building is charming and is great fun to stay around in the courtyard soaking the mid-day sun. The overall facilities in the hostel...

The coolest hostel I ever stayed in. It exceeded my expectations. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. We were able to leave our big backpacks while we traveled around Peru. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The food was delicious and every night there was something fun happening and it was easy to meet people.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Pariwana Hostel Cusco lies in a colonial house built in the 16th century. The beauty of our hostel can be compared to any 5-star hotel in the city of Cusco, but with the atmosphere and vibe of our guests and the Pariwana experience. The house has an internal patio surrounded by stone archways in both the first floor and in the balconies of the second floor. Our restaurant and bar-lounge are located in the same salons where Viceroys used to dine with the local nobility. It is said that there is a secret passage between the house and the closest convent. Supposedly, it was built by the last Viceroy, Abascal, as he new his days were counted. Pariwana Cusco is located in the heart of Cuzco’s Historical District: only 2 blocks away from the main plaza (Plaza de Armas). The hostel is surrounded by the typical Cuzco architecture and scenery. It is nearby several restaurants, drugstores and transportation facilities. ... more   less
