Hotel was last stop before airport next morning. Most rooms are towards the plaza and we got NO REST AT ALL. Cusco was so loud all night long with cars honking, music blasting, dogs barking, drunks shouting, at 3 am I finally fell asleep and at 4 am my alarm clock went off to get to airport. 65 bucks not...

We had a triple room for the 2 of us, on the 3rd floor facing the back. The room had 3 twin beds and nightstands, with no other storage but space to keep luggage on the floor. The bathroom was tiny, but it did the job. Shower was adequate and had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was ok but not...

Hotel Villa Mayor is build in a colonial house one block from main Plaza de Armas in Cusco. Rooms have colonial style and a central courtyard. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of natural juices, bread and egs. Staff is friendy and can help you taking your taxi back to airport or bus station.

The hostal had lots of character and antique pieces. The rooms were also characterful. We had an attic room with beams, high ceilings and lots of light. The beds...

Ok... So I stayed here three nights - one night with a room overlooking the square and the other overlooking the interior courtyard... The good: bed was fairly comfortable, there was hot water, fairly clean, safe. The bad: very noisy because of indor an outdoor traffic, the cafe attached where you have breakfast has bad service and you get haggled...
