We stayed at Aranwa last week during a tour of Peru. The hotel is very quaint and interesting being located in a 17th century colonial mansion. The room was gorgeous with a new updated bathroom (complete with heated granite floors!). The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful with a view of the courtyard. The...

Stayed at the Aranwa on a recent trip to see Machu Picchu. A very comfortable stay an historically interesting environment. A fascinating mix of Spanish colonial and Inca influences. Very atmospheric with excellent staff who couldn't do enough for you especially by trying to make your visit at altitude bearable with coca tea. The room we stayed in was very...

Located 2 blocks from the main square on a quiet street, this is an old mansion converted into a hotel. As with all hotels in Peru, there were two beds in the room. Bathroom is good size with excellent amenities. The shower took some time to figure out as it has way too many options. Interestingly our room had no...

Dear Mr. Frem862 Thank you for your words and appreciation about the Hotel. As you noticed the hotel was an old masion and not all the rooms has no windows but skylight as you mention before, also the carpets we have are the colonial style each ones gave you a tear impression. I would like to mentioned, the elevator was...

The Aranwa is a very comfortable hotel close to the city centre. The staff attentive and friendly. The lift was out of order so we staggered upstairs to the 2nd floor feeling somewhat breathless! Our room was large and the bathroom enormous with an 'interesting' shower. We only had breakfast in the hotel and it was fine. The location is...

Was really looking forward to staying at this hotel, however, it was a letdown. It is a very beautiful hotel but for the amount you pay you can get alot better. This hotel is a hidden gem. Our stay here was wonderful! The rooms, the fantastic showers, the food, the location....but, what impressed us the most was the staff, headed by a kind, warm, professional general manager who went beyond the call of duty to please.
