We stayed here 3 nights before we went to the Amazon, and one night after returning to Cusco. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Peru: very comfy beds, great water pressure, lots of hot water, very clean rooms, extremely helpful staff (they even let us chill our beer in the kitchen's refrigerator). It was also the quietest...

We stayed here 3 times on the way to Tambopata and again before and after hiking the Inca Trail. Staff were very helpful as we had to leave a lot of luggage for both trips. It was waiting for us in the room on our return. Can't say enough about the service, both front desk and bellhops were extremely helpful...

We scheduled 3 days at the beginning of our time in Cusco at Tierra Viva Cusco Saphi to allow us to acclimate to the altitude. The room was very clean. The water was hot and the water pressure was consistently strong. There was fresh-made coca and mint tea in the lobby at all times. Also, there's a safe in the...

A clean, well run hotel. With only 20 rooms it breaths the atmosphere of a romantic boutique hotel. The service was excellent. Upon arrival we were welcomed with coca tea and the promise that if reception could help us in any way we wanted they would. Continental breakfast with a few hot items. Everything fresh. The Sacred Valley day trip...

We stayed in a Suite for 2 Nights after the 4 Day Inka Trail and it was great! Our luggage was already in our rooms when we arrived. Breakfast buffet is also good. And the room was fantastic. I would definitly recommend it!

This hotel has very clean, spacious rooms and is walking distance to Plaza de Armas. The design of the lobby has a great ambiant with a constant wood burning fireplace. Breakfast is mostly continental style, but has some hot stuff too. Our room was not on the street, so was very quiet - just the faint sound of the fountain...

From the moment we arrived for the first of three stays during our tour of Peru, we were struck by the friendliness of the staff and the quality of service. Nothing was too much trouble, including storing our luggage whilst we were on the Inca Trail, booking taxis, and providing oxygen to relieve altitude sickness. The suite was incredibly quiet...

I stayed here just one night on my way back from Machu Picchu. I chose this hotel purely because of its low price. I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of this place for the price I paid. My room was nice enough, clean and very spacious, with en-suite shower room. Products in the bathroom were sufficient. Everything in the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our hotel in Cusco is located in what used to be an elegant colonial residence. Throughout the hotel you’ll find a charming contrast between this imperial city’s rich history and modern convenience and comfort. Our spacious rooms are an invitation to rest, offering the ideal place to refuel and start a new day of exploration and discovery. As was characteristic in large colonial residences, our hotel has two interior patios where our guests can relax during a sunny afternoon or enjoy a soft breeze at the end of the day. ... more   less
