If u don't want to waste a lot of money in hotels.....this is the place! Very simple and familiar, like a house! Breakfast included. You have a nice view during the night. Close to the downtown. Clean and safety. Thanks Apu Wasi

Hotel Apu Wasi is just on the outskirts of the Center of Cusco, near the trail to Sacsayhuaman and Cristo Blanco. The staff were welcoming, helpful and always friendly. The few rooms with windows have nice views overlooking the city. The rooms were clean and the showers were hot with good water pressure (we had gotten a room with a private... More

Among hostels this is a gem. Clean cosy dorms or rooms, around a quiet, colourful, garden, hot gas showers, breakfast including cereal, laundry, kitchen, family friendly staff and inexpensive. Very secure 24 hour locked gate. Stayed days between Salkantay, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu treks. Always a friendly welcome. I´ll miss it.

We stayed about five nights. The rooms were large and clean. Bathrooms looked new and showers were hot and had great water pressure. Breakfast is included and was yum- good selection (buffet style). Staff were lovely and really welcoming. Garden area was nice to sit and have breakfast and hang out. And you would often see humming birds. The main... More

We ended up staying here for a week just because we loved this place. Cheap, clean, friendly staff, very safe (gates are locked 24/7) great breaky, hot showers, big rooms and comfy beds! Definitely recommend! !

We arrived at Apu Wasi after finishing the Lares and it was perfect. Big spacious room for a decent price. Comfortable and cute. Great Wifi, Standard breakfast. We loved it! :) Walls were a bit thin though and we heard a few party goers late into the night...

Clean hostel with comfortable beds and warm blankets. Breakfast is standard (cereal, bread, jam, tea) and the staff is friendly. The hot water doesn't last more than a few minutes, bit its really got while you have it. For the price, is an excellent choice. Everything we've looked at has been more expensive. We're really happy here!

This hostel is very well located for the Plaza de Armas and all the main sights in Cusco. The showers were hot and the room was clean - although in the winter months this hostel is cold. They also were not very good at cleaning, we stayed 4 nights and our bin was not emptied once. They were helpful with... More

We had booked two nights at this hostel and had read a few good things about it. We arrived really late but the staff opened for us and we got our room. The stench of mold that hit us was bad. We also think that the sheets were used. Really a room for three, it was a bad, cold and... More

I stayed at Apu Wasi three times over a period of two month and always felt welcome. They were really helpful, the breakfast was the best we got in Peru (fresh fruit juice..), better also than in cheap hotels. Hot water was always available (you cannot take that for granted in other places in Peru!). Free internet, cheap laundry, garden,... More
