We stayed at Hotel Garcilaso II and really enjoyed our time here. The staff was very attentive, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very good. The location is really nice, too, because you're 2 blocks from the Plaza de Armas and 1 block from the San Pedro Market. They also let us leave our bags in a secured...

Stayed here last October. The Hotel has a beautiful colonial style. Our room was clean, the bathroom was excellent, portable heater in the room, TV + cable, we watch Netflix. Breakfast was good, but the artisan bread called chuta very well known in the region was the best. Free coffee, tea, coca leaf for the altitude in the courtyard. Very...

Stayed here for our first couple nights to get acclimatized to the altitude before going on to Machu Picchu (didn't realize that Cusco was higher elevation, at the time of booking). The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were excellent, and the breakfast was good. Free coffee and tea in the courtyard, which was a nice place to hang out as...

Was our accommodation after Completing the Inca trial, water isn't consistent varies between hot and cold. Unlike our previous hotel we weren't allowed to fill up our water bottles from the main court yard of their complementary spring water fountain which is only allowed for per cup use, no in-room tea and coffee utilities. Was situated next to their storage...

On one of our trips to Cusco, we stayed at this Spanish mansion turned hotel. It was not much to look at inside or out and believe me, the pictures here are being kind. The moldy smell when the room opened up should have been my first clue. My skin started to crawl and itch. I couldn't tell which was...

I always stay at this place when I visit Cusco (often as a tourleader) and have only fond memories of Garcilaso. It is a simple, colonial style house with a courtyard, three minutes walk to the Plaza de Armas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quite basic rooms of all sizes, but I recommend upgrading to the triple room on the...

I stayed at Hotel Garcilaso II with a couple of friends and we had an excellent stay. The hotel is located 4 blocks from Plaza de armas (Main Square) and from there you can walk to the main touristic places. There are plenty of restaurants and markets in the area. We got a room with a nice view to San...

Really liked this hotel three blocks from Plaza de Armas and one block from Plaza San Francisco. Room was large, wifi not so stable but we were there to explore. Tea and water available 24 hours. Staff always helpful called our guide when I was feeling the effects of altitud.

I had a group of 14 people travel with me and all were delighted with their accommodations in the Garcilaso II, just a couple of doors toward San Pedro from the Hotel Garcilaso I. Rooms were spacious, beds comfy, and water was hot in the shower! It is in a prime location, just three blocks from the Plaza de Armas,...

We stayed here twice with a few days away in between. First room on first floor of Garcilaso 2 was really good and comfy, balcony a nice touch. But despite booking same hotel (because reviews seemed slightly better) we were told it was full and moved to Garcilaso 1. Here room wasn't good: doors didn't fit frames, noise and light...
