Myself and 8 other travel companions stayed at this hotel prior to our hike of the Inca Trail. The staff was very accommodating, they delivered our suitcases to our rooms, and generally went out of their way to make us feel at home. My roommate and I had a room on the second floor. It was small but comfortable. We...

We spent three good nights at the Garcilaso. It's a half block from Plaza San Francisco where our collectivo from Ollantaytambo delivered us in Cusco. Three blocks to the main Plaza. The arrangement is two floors around a central courtyard, which has tables and arm chairs. Our room looked like it had just been redone, with new fixtures in the...

We stayed here for one night and I loved it. Really neat and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious. They had a cute little veranda to hangout but we didn't have much time to spend in this place. This place was totally worth it

Stayed here twice. 2 days before my Inca trail hike and 2 days after. First room I got was 210 in the back of the hotel. Quiet, clean. Bathroom adequate with hot water. No decorations in the room but I was fine with that seeing I was out and about most of the day. The blankets on the bed are...

We stayed in the hotel Garcilaso II for 2 nights. Our room was a large, carpeted room with 2 comfortable double beds and a separate nicely tiled bathroom. There was no A/C and the room had a small portable heater (radiator). This was the first room that we stayed in that actually had a telephone. The person at the front...

We stayed at Hotel Garcilaso II after our Inca Trail hike. The staff was very friendly, helpful and the room was comfortable. The toilet wasn't great in the room, however, toilets aren't very good in South America in general. Breakfast was included and very good. We also appreciated them getting us a taxi to the airport for the best rate...

Hotel Garcilaso was a great stay for us in Cusco. The rooms were large and clean and updated bathrooms with hot water. The location was ideal near the Plaza del Armas. The breakfast was delicious with ample breads, cereal, fresh fruits, juices, meats, yogurt, cheeses, and coffee. The Panini maker was a nice surprise and used by all of our...

We stayed in Garcilaso 2 We stayed here three nights total, and stored our luggage in beteen stays (we hiked the Inka Trail) The rooms are okay, but not spectacular, I liked the beds, but I do tend to like harder beds. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is quite ok. All in all I think we got...

Stayed in Garcilaso I (as opposed to Garcilaso II). Hotel is a short walk from Plaza de Armas and surrounding tourist attractions. Minimal English spoken, but staff was very helpful. Nice common areas with tea and coffee provided (free) throughout the day. Great breakfast. Good WiFi, hot water, and good water pressure. Staff can arrange taxis (slightly inflated fare) to...

Besides having a basic room near the many attractions of the historic district, I most enjoyed the dignified yet friendly and helpful staff, the plentiful breakfast buffet set out at 5:00 am each morning, the lovely courtyard, and the internet station in an alcove of a sort of parlor near the registration desk. The breakfast area had two seating sections...
