I was looking for a place to hold a business meeting for about 20 people in Cusco. Very few places had a meeting room large enough and if they did they were much more expensive than the Ruinas. I made the initial booking by email and it was all handled very professionally. Some last minute changes were also catered for... More

We had a group of about 20 people and chose the hotel because it has a meeting space (across the street) and could accommodate our group, at much more reasonable prices than the Marriott next door. The staff were very accommodating on providing group meals, drinks and snacks mid-morning for our meeting, etc. including dealing with gluten-free, vegan, and other... More

The Hotel Ruinas was an amazing experience. I found the staff very kind and helpful. I need a wheelchair for distance. The staff changed our room to first floor (I could manage the stairs with crutches). Not only were the bags brought up, but a staff member came with me just in case. My chair was securely stored and made... More

Good location just 200m from Plaza de Armas so convenient but a bit noisy. Staff very friendly and gave us a very early check in at just 9am which was awesome as we had taken an overnight bus from Cusco and were in need of a shower and a snooze. Room was a bit basic, big clean bed but not... More

I had planned to spend 2 nights here but checked out after 1 night. Upon arrival, the lobby was sparkling with lots of brass and marble. High expectations. Check-in was disappointing as the desk clerk advised me that I could have either a room with 1 twin bed or a room with 1 full bed, Of course I chose the... More

This is a very nice place to stay while in Cusco. The hotel is in a great, central location and is clean and modern compared to many other Cusco hotels. The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet is very good.

Maybe the hotel needs some luxury and modernity, but the rooms and bathrooms are very clean... the breakfast is a great buffet. And the location is perfect... the main square is nearly to the hotel... about 3 blocks.

Our local travel agent booked Hotel Ruinas for us on a 4 days / 3 nights tour to Macchu Picchu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley....and it was a good choice. It's very conveniently located right in the center of Cusco, everything is reachable by foot which gives you a lot of choices to eat and drink. Rooms are pretty basic... More

Some good things about his hotel - wi-fi, location, really friendly and helpful staff, the shower in the rooms and the ham and cheese omelette that they made me every day for breakfast. No A/C but we could open the window, this might be an issue in warmer season.
