Nice people in a beatifull antique house. Ask for tours information at the lobby :). Well located. You only have to walk a couple blocks to get to Plaza de Armas. Cuzco's people is amazingly friendly, and the hotel staff is not the exception, they make you feel very welcome.

What a fantastic hotel! You really feel 'at home' there! Such a great little garden, beautifully decorated rooms (so glad that they were in 'Cusco style' and not 'contemporary / modern'), fantastic breakfast (best pancakes ever!, delicious homemade Granola, very good coffee - and it's all organic!), nice & helpful people! Kudos to the housekeeping team : it was so...

We had a good experience at El Balcon and their sister property in Ollantaytambo. Julia, in particular, was highly responsive and was a tremendous help to me and my family when organizing our trip. The condition of the property in Cusco is OK...clean, but carpets are stained, bathrooms need updating, but are completely functional, location is excellent, and staff people...

The front desk staff was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and what to see in Cusco. We arrived late and had not eaten dinner. Having the restaurant on site was so convenient. Although the selection was not large, we were all able to find something we enjoyed. The food and service were very good. The wifi was a bit weak...

My two children and I spent our first nights in Cusco at El Balcon and nothing could have been a better start to our Peru vacation. The hotel is beautiful, authentic and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. They picked us up at the Cusco airport and our driver gave a helpful narrative of the sites as...

We stayed at the lovely El Balcon during our time in Cusco. The property was lovely, with a beautiful garden, simple design and an incredible view of the city from the upper balcony. Breakfast was healthy and delicious, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Knocking off one star because there was confusion at the time of booking -...

Great location, just around the corner from Plaza de Armas. Beatiful, two-storey building (top-floor balcony rooms overlookibg the city - worth paying the premium). Spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Good brekfasts.

Good location just north of Plaza de Armas, no more than 5 minutes walk. Staff were friendly and helpful with transfers and taxis at all times of the day. Our room was quiet, well equipped and large with stunning views to the square and the mountains beyond.

We loved our stay at El Balcon for its location (a short walk from the touristy areas on a quiet street), the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff, and the setting—rustic, beautiful buildings and lovely gardens.
