Originally planned to stay two nights, extended to three. Loved that it was a small, quiet hotel with a beautiful garden. Welcoming and helpful staff. Great breakfast to start a full day of adventuring in Cusco. Luggage can be stored in hotel if you do overnight trips outside of Cusco.

We had a room with a balcony on New years Eve overlooking the city. The view of the city at night exploding in fireworks was unlike anything I've ever seen. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the price was fair. It's just a cool little place!

We transferred to El Balcon after spending our first night in Cusco at a noisy hotel close by. For just a few dollars more, it was like night and day difference, and after staying at El Albergue in Ollantaytambo, we knew this would be a good choice. We were given a very large room, the family room, with 2 separate...

El Balcon is a really nice, clean and welcoming hotel in Cusco, with comfortable beds and rooms at really affordable prices (we've travelled a lot in South America and you sometimes pay the same price for a less than satisfactory room, with no service, no breakfast or dirty beddings (or a combination of those)... Here the sheets are clean and...

Lovely, caring, multilingual staff. Great attention to detail in 'rustic lodge' style. Superbly comfortable beds, quiet location, soft towels, great WiFi, spotlessly clean, organic and 'green' focus, excellent food around cozy fireplaces. Breathtaking views from balconies. Note: Requires some physical agility as multilevel with open, cobblestone stairways.

The location was fabulous and we could easily walk to all sites and many restaurants. Lovely garden and grounds welcomed you after a long day taking in the city. Loved the local weaving used as wall decor!

Very accommodating staff. Beautiful rooms with a lovely view high up overlooking Cuzco. El Balcon is within walking distance to the main plaza, shopping, and restaurants. We spent our first two nights at El Balcon, then traveled to Puno, and returned to Cuzco and El Balcon before heading to Lima. The staff helped us with all travel arrangements. We absolutely...

This boutique hotel in Cusco is the best deal around. It is cosy and friendly and excellent in all ways. We love the view from the balcony, the comfy beds, the hot showers and fresh towels and wash cloths. They provide a hair dryer, too. The rooms have wi-fi and large bottles of filtered water. They seem to have thought...
