We read a few reviews which said there weren´t hot showers, but we stayed for 4 nights in total and the showers were always hot (until 10pm when they turn off the gas). The shared bathrooms were very clean and the rooms were nice. For 54 soles a night for a double room with a shared bathroom this was very... More

Its a very nice Hotel, but is not very central. You have to walk like 10 to 15 minutes from the main square, and with the altitude its not very easy... The rooms are nice and the breakfest its also very good. You can leave your bags and go to Machu Pichu and they won´t charge you more. Nice place.

We spend in total 5 nights in Pakcha Real. The place has very good location (San Blas), rooms are cleaned every day and the price was OK (70 soles for the matrimonial room). It’s a bit cold in the night and morning, and after 22.00 you need to insist on them turning on the hot water. It seems to be... More

Everything was fine until the last day. We asked the ¨owner¨ Daniel to find us a bus ride from Cusco to Arequipa. We asked for a bus-cama so we could get a good night sleep in the bus. He came back to us the next day and asked for 110 soles per person. He stated he found a great company... More

Stayed here with a family of four with 2 teenage boys on a hastily planned stopover to get to Cusco before an unforseen road closure forced us to change our holiday plans. Booked the room in the early evening and travelled to Cusco by night bus and arrived at the hostal at around 2AM. We were greeted by smiling and... More

We stayed at the nearby Kuntur Wasi on our first night no Cusco and found it overpriced and cold.  We found this place two minutes down the and we were  very happy with the find. The owners are very extremely friendly, flexible and helpful. Breakfast was basic bread butter but fine - tea and coffee were available all through the... More

Hostal Packha Real is a great place to stay in Cusco. It is in San Blas which is a nice quiet area, only a few blocks from the main square with many good bars and restaurants. We stayed in a matrimonial room for 60 soles per night with a comfy bed and a very good hot shower. Heaters are also... More

Daniel the owner speaks English well, and dedicated to his guests. His staff (the desk clerk) spoke hardly any English, so we had some trouble communicating our need for a second reservation. They had Visa stickers all over but would not take Visa in payment, nor did they have change for our large bills. The Spanish-speaking guests seemed to enjoy... More

“Although the shared bathrooms are kept in very good condition, it is well worth it to take a room with a private bathroom. We stayed in one our last night and it completed the experience of feeling like we were in a hotel...especially when you have to take a pee at 3am, lol!”
