We stayed 4 nights in this great hotel. Two nights then went to Machu Picchu for a night then back for a final 2 nights. Loved our room the first two nights - room 503 but when we returned we were given a smaller room. Our luggage was safely stored for us. There is a great courtyard and live music...

Stayed in this hotel and had a 5 star experience. Was a little apprehensive as read reviews that some rooms are less comfortable, but got a fantastic spacious one, with rustic decor, comfortable bed, fireplace, bath, kettle, a little interior patio to sit outside for a coffee. It has also a couple of lovely details like umbrellas in each room....

Situated a few minutes walk up from the main square where there are plenty of restaurants. Excellent courtyard if you have time to sit and relax. The restaurant serves tasty food at a reasonable price. We stayed for 3 nights in room 401 which is almost entirely occupied by a massive bed. The wash basin is separated from the bedroom...

Lovely boutique hotel located a few blocks from the main square. The décor is fresh and funky, lots of color. The staff is extremely helpful and restaurant is very good as well. Look forward to returning.

We stayed here two nights as a base to travel around the area. Rooms are spacious and well appointed what impressed was the reasonable laundry service and the turn round it offered. The staff were really helpful and spoke enough English to answer all our questions. The court yard was a great place to end the evening with a nightcap....

Our travel agent chose this hotel, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect - but what a pleasant surprise! The El Mercado is relatively new (3 years old), and is a charming boutique property well located in the center of Cuzco. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful - especially Edwin in the wonderful breakfast room, who even gave...

We spent 3 nights in this gem, which is within walking distance from the city center. Originally a market it has been completely modernized with latest technology (free wi-fi throughout); their break-fast is one of the best we ever had during our travels. Staff very friendly, accommodating and willing/eager to please. If we were to go back to Cusco, this...

El Mercado was the perfect start to our trip. We stayed in a junior sweet as we went for our honeymoon. The room was very clean, high class, and had a beautiful bath tub and fireplace in it. The colors were calming and the room smelled like a spa. When you arrive they have fresh tea for you and even...

We stayed here 2 separate nights, at the beginning and end of our REI Adventures Salkantay trek. This is an older building with smaller rooms, but it is clean and in good condition. The breakfasts were excellent. We also had a couple nice meals at the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The patio area is comfortable, and...

Nice hotel, not sure if it was the travel agent's fault or there fault, but we were kicked out- disappointing experience. The hotel was great otherwise, with live music in the evenings, great food, and a nice location- short walk to the main square. The staff were helpful and very friendly
