This little hotel was in a good location, with only about a 5 or 10 minute walk to the main square, along a safe route. I opted to book a room with a fireplace thinking that would take the chill out of the cool evenings, but I didn't realize the altitude made it almost impossible to light. There were brighter...

If you're looking at this hotel, you might be tempted to go for the room with the fireplace. After all, what could be more romantic? Well, don't. The room was dark and chilly and a little bit dank, and the wood they gave us to brighten and warm it up was practically fireproof. The bathroom was also a little bit...

Sorry for the inconvenience, we have taken note of your observations to work on improving that particular room. We are glad that you've had a pleasant stay after doing the Inca Trail. Regards, El Andariego team.

Stayed here for several nights with a gap in the middle to go on the Inca Trail. The staff securely stored our luggage for free (and even let us come pull it out a few times before finally leaving). Rooms were clean and had free wi-fi. Very comfy beds but could be a little noisy with people coming and going...

I'm surprised this is not rated much higher. It's like a home with a beautiful courtyard, kitchen with coffee etc. they bring you herb read and coca tea at check in. The receptionist shirley was sweet and obliging. Helped us find a great restaurant 3 blocks away called Chicha. Our tour was arranged by big willy of auqui peru tours...

Not ideal location in Centro, and though tucked away in a quiet courtyard, the hotel's noises were unacceptable. Our room on the second floor may have been the worst location for this but we heard the phone ring and the doorbell buzz all hours of the night, people walking on hardwood, old wooden doors tough and noisy to close and...

This hostal is located in a colonial style decorated building with furniture and paintings from the colonial era, but with modern day amenities - warm showers, WiFi, and comfy beds. It was relatively quiet set back off the street, unless you had a room at the back of the building which backed up to a restaurant/bar. One night of my...
