I have previously stayed in Casa Elena a couple of times and find its location is very good and place has charm. On this occasion, however, I was asked to pay for two nights reservation by bank transfer in advance of my visit from Lima. ok no problem. Then when we arrived last night from the Sacred Valley we were... More

Thanks to the passion given by the director Elena, the place is a real paradise! She takes care of every small details and she is very helpful! I would not find other ways to recommend the place and to meet her if you have the opportunity to visit Cusco. Moreover, she organizes different treks to discover the wonders of Peru,... More

I stayed 4 nights at Casa Elena and I did enjoyed it, except the fact that it was colddddd! (*You need to pay extra for the heater) It's right on one of the connecting streets to Plaza des Armas of Cuzco. The interior garden it's the heart of this cute hostel. Rooms are ok as well, but can be cleaner. Breakfast... More

Casa Elena is THE REASON I will return to Cuzco. If it were not for this, I'd likely keep visiting other new places. Her grace is that of a curandera for travelers. The location of the hotel is almost perfect for access to key places. Jacks is down the street. Laundry is affordable and fast. The casual atmosphere is to... More

Casa Elena was our "home" base for 6 nights while on a 2 week trip to Peru. Our stay was in the beginning of the trip for two nights, a night in the middle and three nights at the end of the trip. Casa Elena is a warm and friendly establishment and Elena and Yves treat their guests like family.... More

This charming, casual inn is perfectly located near Inca walls, main plaza, restaurants and shopping in Cusco's San Blas area. But the best part is the personal attention, advice, and service from Elena and her staff. She offered excellent support for our expedition, and provided critical advice and local connections when we needed to solve problems. And Elena provided guidance... More

Casa Elena is a wonderful place to stay and serves as a perfect base for exploring Peru. The proprietors, Elena and Eve treated us like family and pointed us in only the right directions. The hotel is unassuming, comfortable and full of life and love. We had a large group here, on the two ends of a major Andean expedition.... More

Lovely hotel, very close to the main place. Good breakfast buffet included; nice decoration of the public areas. Beds are good, but rooms are cold and heaters are with a supplement... and there is no real hot water (it depends when you take your shower). Depending on the room you get, you have a nice TV or a very old... More

A charming, bed-and-breakfast type hotel in a great location in the old center of Cusco. Very convenient and close to the main plaza and all related sites and restaurants. A local friend recommended this to our group. Elena was very nice and responsive throughout the reservation process and the stay. She welcomed us with coca tea to relax, and she... More
