The rates were so reasonable, we stayed in the Presidential Suite! So glad we did, we spent the entire evening out on our balcony, overlooking the beautifully manicured grounds of the square across the street. So much activity and entertainment to behold, people watching and…
Stayed here for one night, could do more! The hotel looks amazing and located right on the St Martin square in the heart of Lima. We just walked 5 minutes and entered tile-clad Lima's old town with reach in Spanish colonial architecture and palaces and cathedrals around each…
Stopped here as it was recommended as one of the best places for a pisco sour. Having been in the country club de Lima earlier was immediately disappointed. Very worn and tatty rather than old world charm. Sat on the outside terrace very little atmosphere ordered a cathedral…
Stopped here for a Pisco Sour during our tour of downtown Peru. It was a fun hotel to walk through - the lobby is very antiquated and beautiful with a large domed stained glass ceiling. Enjoyable for a cocktail!
Even if you get a room in the inner courtyard, the faintest breeze will nave the window rattling all'night long. Rooms facing the main square are outright unthinkable. Athmospheric hotel in a strategic position but definitely run down. And not so clean.
"We only stayed there once, so can speak about our 2nd floor room only. It is big and quiet and it was consierge's choice for us."
"Go to Mira Flores."
"Great view of the plaza!!!!"
"Rooms away from the street may be more quiet"
"do not stay on week end and anyway ask for room on the back"
