Friendly and helpful staff, rooms were large and clean and the hostel had a reasonable breakfast but do not stay here if you require internet access. I also had the same experience at the Flying Dog Hostel in Iquitos.

Good location and nice hostel in general, but really poor internet connection. Breakfast included, moreover They are taking special care of guest's health by serving for the breakfast fruit salad containing 8 pieces of fruits and half glass of juice (+ coffee)...

I experienced no issues with this hostel. I had a great private room to myself and it was perfect for my stay. The people were really nice and helped me call taxis and such. The wifi was really bad in the room though. The shower was clean. It was a typical Peruvian hostel!

I always stay here when passing through Lima. The staff are great, the rooms are fine, and the location is perfect. Lima always feels a bit unsafe, yet I feel totally comfortable at flying dog... There is a great Chinese restaurant across the park as well.

This hostel benefits from its location right at Parque Kennedy in Miraflores, Lima. I stayed in a dormitory (S./ 35 as of Nov 2015) which has personal lockers - have your own lock! The hostel is safe as the staff lets everybody in and out through the locked doors. Internet worked fine in the nice common room upstairs overlooking the...

My husband and I stumbled across the bar attached to this hostel and are so glad we did! The music played was all 90s hip hop and rock. The weirdest combinations but we loved it. The drinks were flowing, appetizers available delicious and we had (too) good a time!

We were delighted to be welcomed at Flying Dogs Backpackers Hostel by Juan, a very helpful evening employee who made us feel at home during our stole stay. He was always willing to help, and always in a good mood. Thanks a lot Juan for making this stay so nice and fun!

The review I write is for the 117 Canesco address. Flying Dog has three locations in Lima - this one does not have a bar in the hostel area, but you can visit the other locations and bars with your wristband. Room was just ok. Not super clean and was really noisy as it was located by the stairs and...

Its an alright place if you really need a place to stay and you are on a budget. But if you are really on a budget you should probably stay out of Miraflores and maybe Lima altogether, because outside of Lima you can find private rooms for the same price as a dorm room at this hostel (such as near...

The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. It was a little musty when we walked it. The air also did not work. The dish tv did not work either. The shower ran out of hot water in the morning. There was construction going on directly outside our room and woke us up early. The Internet worked in the common...
