Hostal El Patio, in the Miraflores District of Lima, has a small group of rooms that surround a small, lovely garden on the first floor and a patio terrace on the second. The decor is quaint and funky. The rooms are basic and comfortable, with plenty of storage space. Each room is provided with a pitcher of filtered water, which...

I stayed here for 3 nights during June 2016. Each day I had to switch rooms since rooms fill up rather quickly there. This was not a major problem & the staff offered to move my belongings since I was out during the day. When I came back I got my new room key & found my luggage neatly placed...

Stayed for a night. Love the common areas... Love. Room was okay. Clean. Walls are a bit thin so it was a little noisy at night. First place I've stayed in Lima on this trip... so still gauging this country's "standard" if you will. I had slightly higher expectations of the room for the cost. However to be fair the...

We recently spent 4 nights at the Beautiful Hostal El Patio. It was perfect for our needs: quiet, clean, atmospheric, colorful gardens, delightful sitting areas, good breakfasts, helpful staff: what more could you ask for? All in all, a very peaceful respite in the middle of all things Lima. Miraflores is a delightful area and all sights are easily accesible...

This is the sweetest little place to stay in Lima. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is very helpful. Look them up on the internet....you can communicate directly with them and they will arrange airport pickup for you. It is safe and secure. The gardens are wonderful!!

A pleasant stay. Clean room and friendly, helpful staff. Not the nicest furniture or prettiest rooms ever but some effort had clearly been made to provide a desk and a wardrobe. Consistent hot water. Solid choice for Miraflores as location is good.

This hostal was nice and a decent value. The hostal was somewhat loud within & surrounding it. Unfortunately they are doing construction all directly across from the hostal which I would guess will be going on the rest of this year. Voices carry & a baby crying at night seemed ever too close. Wifi worked only 10% of the time...

Very friendly and helpful - rooms neat and clean; continental breakfast fine; well located for walking explorations of Miraflores; but what was particularly outstanding was the service. I initially booked via a recommendation from Lonely Planet. They arranged my airport pickup, and I wound up staying 4 nights during 2 periods in Lima; they were also very helpful in suggesting...

Beautiful individual rooms, open air, surrounded by gardens. The staff were wonderful and kind. I love places that are so individual compared to the chain hotels. Great location to walk among the ocean from. Breakfast included with great coffee.

This hostal has been excellent. It is a small hotel/oasis in the middle of Miraflores. The staff is on duty all hours to assist with a taxi or a tour. Flowers and a fountain fill the courtyard. It is a quiet place to sleep. Recommend for your stay in Lima in a more authentic yesterday style place.
